Min egen plats
It's impossible to start writing like this, totally out of the
blue. Okay, some stats. I'm a 20-year-old girl from
Finland. I'm studying paper technology for the first
year at Helsinki University of Technology.
I chose my paper technology
because I like chemistry and feel that paper industry is important for Finland.
As i said, I live in Finland, in a suburb of Helsinki called Kannelmäki.
I'm living with a former classmate of mine, Heidi. I'm a
pretty open minded girl. I like music, reading and
photographing. Although I've never gotten around to really make
photographing a real hobby of mine.
I can't claim that I'm a total party-girl but since I started at HUT I've started to party some more. I enjoy the parties at Teknologföreningen and I've gotten many new FUN friends there!
Here's me and my boyfriend last summer
I guess this has to do for now... I'll have to continue this
with better time. I hope you got at least a small hint of
who I am!

I was born in Helsinki in 1982
My family moved to Tuusula in 1984
I started elementary school at Klemetskogskola in 1989
My parents got divorced in 1990 and I stayed with my mother
I started junior high/high school at Helsinge högstadie in 1995
I moved to Nova Scotia, Canada with my father's family in 1997
I attended Dr. John Hugh Gillis Regional High School 1997-98
We moved back to Finland and I started high school/gymnasium
at Helsinge gymnasium in 1998
I wrote my matriculation exam in spring 2001 and graduated from the
Finnish high school system.
I started at HUT in fall 2001
