For Aaron

Born Dec.28,1981 -- Died May 21,1998

You were not my child by birth,
But mine by heart.

Things will never be the same without you.

When Someone We Love Dies

Time is a treasure, like friendship, so dear.
Such a small time to prove that you were here.
So little time to touch those around
So when we are gone, memories will abound.

Memories to comfort, to remind those who loved us
That they were important and gave joy and happiness,
Memories of how empty our lives are without them
Or memories of the times we had with them.

Each word we speak, every thought, every action,
Are all treasured moments that we just can't shun.
They flood into our dreams and follow us through the day,
Let's hope we have enough time to remember to say

I love you with all my heart and In my heart you will always stay.

Everything I Own

Is there someone you know,
You're loving them so,
But taking them all for granted.

You may loose them one day,
Someone takes them away,
And they don't hear the words you long to say.

I would give anything I own,
Give up my life, my heart, my home,
I would give everything I own,
Just to have you back again.
Just to touch you once again.
