THE MUSIC ROOM

Let's start with music. My tastes range from the sweet and sappy to the
dark and heavy. As I mentioned before, and like with many other things in my life, it all depends on my
mood. However, the kind of music you will hear me listening to can be the biggest give away when it
comes to just how I might be feeling. Mozart, Beethoven, (generally any classical), Cocteau Twins, This
Mortal Coil, Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, Smashing Pumpkins, Dead Can Dance, RadioHead, or
anything of the like could tell you that I am in a reflective kind of mood, that I am thinking of life perhaps,
and would be ready for some serious conversation. Siouxsie and The Banshees, Bauhaus, My Life With
The Thrill Kill Kult, The Sisters Of Mercy, Front 242, KMFDM, Janes Addiction, Current 93, Ministry,
The Legendary Pink Dots, Christian Death, or any of that good old so called "Death Rock/Gothic" noise
could tell you that I am reminiscing about the "good old days", when my nights were spent in L.A.'s dark
and creepy clubs, dancing until dawn, just barely making it home in an intoxicated haze. Now, if you
happen to stumble upon me when I'm listening to Marilyn Manson, TypeONegative, Tool, White Zombie,
Helmet, or anything heavy like that....you'd better stay out of my way, or be ready to join me in some
serious trouble!! Then again, I could be listening to something else totally off the wall that I didn't even
mention, because, sometimes, it just doesn't matter what's on-as long as it's on! Ahhh, without
music...well, I just cannot imagine breathing. It inspires me, it moves me, it makes me feel, and growing
up the daughter of a musician, I would have to say it is truly in my b|ood-without it, I simply cannot
function.
Perhaps next I should take you to the library, stay close now...FOLLOW ME..."
