Golden Rule

Why do people feel that they can simply treat others badly? I am of the firm belief that what goes around comes around. I have never intentionally ditched someone when I had made plans with them, so why does that happen to me. I know a number of people out there are not Christian, but maybe they should follow the second of the two commandments (and I am refering to the two that replaced the original 10 from the old testiment). That is "Love your neighbor as yourself". When I got stood up on that date by Ann, I was really confused by that. The reason is, she has been reading this page from time-to-time, and when I talked to her she teased me about "chasing after a woman who obviously doesn't respect you". Well, isn't standing me up disrespect? At least Sin has the decency to call me when she says she's going to or answer e-mail. Personally, getting ditched really chaps my hide. There are few things that I will end a friendship over, but that is one of them. It is definitly a pet-peev of mine, as I have to force myself to overlook it. If there is anyone else out there who has similar experiences or a point of view, please e-mail me about it and we can begin an online "discussion".
