Why I made this site.
Remember, I'm entitled to my opinion--just cuz I don't agree with YOUR opinion, DOES NOT mean I don't know anything about basketball-----Also, I am NOT jealous of MJ--why then do I love the past & present great players? I absolutely love DR.J, Bird, Barkley, Muhammad Ali, Babe Ruth, Tiger, Joe Montana, etc...I have NO problem with successful people or people with great skill! I just don't like Jordan the person. I will admit he has GREAT moves, but it doesn't mean I have to worship him!
TO Jordan FANS: Don't get so insulted by my page or feel so outraged. CALM DOWN before u start threatening me! MJ will ALWAYS be the greatest & you have millions of people on YOUR side--I'm just one of the few people who respect--but happen not to worship Michael.
*I wrote this because I wanted to show "the other" side to Jordan. Everybody already knows he's the best & he's a great role model. I just want everybody to know that he's HUMAN & "Air" Jordan has his faults, too. I could just leave his reputation alone--but why should I? EVERY celeb, EVERY athelete, every politcian gets slandered & picked apart! Why shouldn't Jordan? Why should he be untouched? Just because he's the best? Well, the best in every field gets criticized--MJ's no different!
* Another reason I made this page is cuz I hate the way the NBA, the Bulls, & Jordan "brainwash" the world. Not everybody, but too many people wear Chicago jerseys & hang MJ's poster up & can't name the starting line-up, some of those "fans" don't even watch basketball
(I know 2 "die-hard" Bulls fan like that)!
There's also too many who think NO other player has skill--not even Grant Hill, Olajuwon, or Penny! Too many people have all their emotions on Scottie & Michael. (I wonder who they'll support when MJ & Pippen retires!) What's worse is that SOME actually think that the Jazz lost in the Finals cuz Utah sucks! Hopefully all of u reading this can agree that's not true!
2) WHY DO YOU SPREAD HATE?
*For one thing, there are MORE IMPORTANT hate to worry about. I don't really think that my opinion on an athlete should upset as many people as it does! Worry about racism or sexism or Sadam Hussein. I'm not a hateful person--on 10/28/97, I've changed the title of my MJ page to clarify some confusion. Hate's a strong word..I "DON'T LIKE" MJ, ok!!??
3) ARE YOU JEALOUS OF MICHAEL JORDAN?
*Absolutely not! I'm always confused when people ask or tell me this. What should I envy?..his skill? I'm not trying to make it in the NBA or anything, so why should I envy his talent? Or maybe his championships? Again, I'm not in the NBA, why should I worry about getting a ring? Or how about his success? I get that question A LOT! I, in no way, am jealous of MJ's success--I have NO problem with OTHER successful atheletes. In fact, I LOVE them--Bird, Magic, Hill, Penny, etc...
4) DON'T U KNOW THAT MJ'S THE GREATEST PLAYER EVER?!
*Funny how I get this question everyday...even when I clearly state he is!
5)WHY ARE U SO MEAN? EVERYBODY HAS FAULTS!
*I didn't make this site to be mean. I've just always loved people's reactions when they hear that I don't like MJ. Most get so offended & are willing to kill in Jordan's honor. Almost everybody starts cursing...& insult me (just cuz I have a different opinion). It's funny how people get so MAD over my thoughts--nobody should care what I think!
6)NOBODY AGREES WITH YOU--SO WHY DON'T U SHUT UP?
*Actually, a very few percent of the population DOES in fact agree with me. Some agree 100%, some don't agree totally--but agree with the fact MJ shouldn't be worshiped. I have also been known to convince a few people to see MJ's faults. That isn't my intention, but I'm flattered!
