 was introduced into The Chronicles of Amber back in 1982, my freshman year of college. Roger Zelazny tells in his stories the adventures of Corwin, one of the princes of Amber. The story begins with Corwin vaguely remembering who he is on a Shadow Earth and then tells of his return to Amber, and his conflict with his siblings. The stories go on to tell about the power struggles and palace intrigues that swirl around the throne of Amber. These books mix magic, with modern day conviences, drawing the reader deeper and deeper into the tale...creating something that is so realistic, you dare not disbelieve it while you are reading it.
There are a total of 10 books that are in the Chronicles of Amber, starting with Nine Princes of Amber (1970) and ending with Prince of Chaos (1991).
