My newest project at
this time is creating a start page for my browsers that will eliminate having to
go to my bookmarks all the time. The *Links Toolbar* in IE5.0
and the *Personal Toolbar* in Communicator 4.xx both spoiled me, by allowing quick access to
regular sites without dealing with BookMarks. I got this idea from a program at
ZDnet called Page 1 It creates an all text start page of bookmarks that is
located on you local machine and accesses it very quickly. My page has been
created in my html editor Arachnophilia ( free, by the way ) but you
can create one from Page 1 that will make surfing a lot easier. I have my page
posted and you may find some of the links useful. If so you are welcome to them.
I prepared a page like it for Clara to take to school and load on the
machines in her classroom so the kids will all have the Educational and
Historical and Governmental Sites at their disposal without having to waste time
looking in their bookmarks. It was a big hit with Clara and the folks at her school, for now it is loaded on nearly all the pc's there. At least all the ones Clara has access to.

I have a
couple of links to my home town of El Dorado in south central Arkansas on my Lcars image map page but I thought I would put
them here also. I also have include here some links to my new home in
Coal Grove, Ohio. We are about 3 miles east of Ironton, Ohio and
about 35 miles east of Portsmouth. It is a small community across the Ohio River
from Ashland KY and about 20 miles west of Huntington, WV. We are located in the
Tri-State Area of Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia.
