First,
using FrontPage, create another local file web (instructions are on my Startup page).
Then
in the FrontPage Explorer, using the View Menu/ Themes, turn on themes for the web.
Using
the View Menu, switch the FrontPage Explorer to Navigation mode. Then on the Tools Menu,
set the Shared Borders for the web.
While
still in Navigation mode, create three more pages named One, Two, Three (or whatever).
Then link them in the following heirarchy:
|
|||||||
|
|
|
Then
close FrontPage 98
Using
the Windows Explorer, copy the folowing files, from their sub-directories in this web, to
the main directory of your real FrontPage local file web:
Source Directory |
. | Files to Copy |
_themes/ThemeName |
... | Copy *.css, *.gif, *.jpg These are Image Files and Style Sheets |
. | ||
_fpclass |
. | *.class These are the Java Class files for the Hover Buttons |
. |
Next
create a Pallette page for the graphics. Open your Main FrontPage Web, and create a blank
page. Then insert a copy of each graphic (*.gif, *.jpg) onto the page (you can drag and
drop from the FrontPage Explorer to the FrontPage Editor). This then becomes your Graphics
Pallette page, that you can copy and paste graphics from as you create pages. For an
example, My Theme page, is my pallette page for these pages,
copied fromt the Expedition Theme.
