A little bit about us....

My husband (Paul) and I have been married since September 26, 1992 (together since May 1988) We met in high school when I was a freshman and he was a senior. We went on our first date 3 years after we met (to MY senior prom) thanks to his Mother (who I thank every day for setting up that date.) Paul was in the Army at the time and I hadn't seen him in about 2 1/2 years (it was more or less a "blind" date) Maybe it was the uniform that did it for me, but I knew that night that he was the one I would marry. :o)

Since then, we've been very busy people. Paul has recently changed careers. He just received his Black Seal License and is working for Covanta Warren Energy as a Boiler Operator. He should be going for his Blue Seal in the fall/winter. Paul is still on thelocal Emergency Squad and spends the rest of his time being the most WONDERFUL father and the BEST husband! (Check out Paul and I after dancing all night at the banquet for the Emergency Squad... Boy was it hot that night! LOL)

I've been a part-time 911 Dispatcher since August 1997, and when I'm not working, I spend my time being a full-time Mom to our 2 kids. In September 2004, I took on a 2nd job... I am the crossing guard for Brass Castle School. I used to be an E.M.T. on the Emergency Squad, too. But that was before we had 2 kids. I do help the squad out every now and then driving the ambulance during the day (when the kids are in school.)

Lauren turned 11 in August and Kieran turned 9 in May. They are growing up so fast! I can't believe it. Lauren just started 6th grade!! Kieran is in 3rd grade, and is starting his second year of Pee-Wee Football. He loves it! (Panther's Football Schedule.)

Paul started a new job in Nov'04. Still in the boiler field, but this job is 150% better than his last job. He's so happy. This year (2005) is his last year as Captain on the Emergency Squad. He's been Captain for the past 6 years! And served as Asst Captain & Lt. for 6 years prior to that. Paul used to play the bagpipes in his spare time (what is spare time???)LOL, but hasn't been able to lately. Here is Paul playing at a friends wedding. (Look at those knees!!!wooo hooo) Maybe one day he'll be able to take up the hobby again. Right now he schedule doesn't allow for it.

Our lives are extremely busy (as always). Between the kids, house, jobs, volunteer work, and OUR NEW ADDITION to our family - we have little time for much else. However, we do get a chance to get away once in a while. You can read about our family getaways we've had this year (and previous years).

Stacie turned the big 35 this year (2005). You can see the party Paul had for her.
