Sally Alicia Acorn (Apparently) the only child of King Acorn, Sally has been treated as such her entire life. Her teachings began earlier in life than most children's, mainly from her official mentor, Julayla, but, to a lesser extent, from all the officials in her father's court. Through the official science officer, Sir Charles Hedgehog, she met Sonic the Hedgehog; through Sir D'Coolette, she met Antoine D'Coolette. When Dr. Julian Ivo Robotnik attacked, he took over Mobotropolis in one swift swoop. Sally and a few of her friends were rescued by Julayla and Sally's nanny, Rosie, and taken to the secret underground village of Knothole. Since then, the fight has continued, with Sally as the unofficial leader of the resistance. Sally has to put up with a lot as leader of the Knothole Freedom Fighters, including constant attacks from Robotnik, Confrontations with other Freedom Fighters, Antoine constantly trying to impress her, and trying to deal with Sonic the Hedgehog’s attitude. Though she rarely admits it, she has a soft spot where Sonic is concerned.
