Sonic the Hedgehog Sonic the Hedgehog, "The Most Famous Hedgehog in the World!" He's got a go-for-it 150% attitude, and about as much patience as a dentist with no teeth. When he isn't burning up the Mobius landscape with his pal Tails, he can probably be found takin' it easy on South Island. Little is known about Sonic's parents. He was separated from them at an extremely early age, and went to live with his Uncle Chuck, King Acorn's royal Science Officer. As a result, he became close to all the royal officials, including Princess Sally and Antoine D'Coolette. Sonic was also introduced to Rotor, a student of his uncle's. Since escaping with his friends to Knothole, Sonic has become the very spirit of the Freedom Fighters. His name is synonomous with the resistance, due to his ability to think quickly and improvise a sudden plan in any situation (the result of this gift being that he refuses to try any other means and is known as being extremely impulsive). As if speed exceeding mach 1 wasn't enough, this agile hedgehog can pull off his fair share of fleet acrobatic tricks. His Sonic Spin can buzz through the thickest underground passageways, and his Double Jump always leaves Robotnik's Badniks blinking. The Spin Dash, Peel Out, and Spin Dash are three different ways of utilizing his techniques. Although racing isn't particularly Sonic's interest, he does have a sleek red racecar he calls the Cyclone. It's pulled him through the two Chaos Grand Prix tournaments. When Sonic collects all seven Chaos Emeralds, he becomes Super Sonic. As Super Sonic, all of his natural abilities are enhanced. His speed is so incredible that he actually hovers a few feet above the ground rather than running on it. He is completely invincible to all attacks (except getting smashed or drowning). His color also changes from brilliant blue to shining yellow. However, he needs at least fifty Rings to utilize Chaos Emerald power, and he must keep a steady supply or he'll turn back to normal Sonic. When Sonic collects the seven Hyper Emeralds, along with the seven Chaos Emeralds, he becomes Hyper Sonic. More powerful than Super Sonic, Hyper sonic is faster and has so much energy that multiple Sonic images are projected, and he can release his energy in a bright flash that sends him flying in the direction he was jumping, and kills any Badnik around him. Sonic's motto is this: "Don't just sit there and waste your precious time. When you want something done, do it right away. Do it when you can. It's the only way to live a life without regrets."
