1/2 cp butter or margarine
1/2 cp salad or olive oil
4 cloves garlic minced, or 1 tbsp garlic powder
1 can(10-3/4 oz) condensed chicken broth
1 tsp onion powder
1 can(6-1/2 oz) chopped clams, or tuna, or 4-1/2 oz can shrimp
grated parmesan or romano cheese
In 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, inhot butter and oil cook garlic till golden. Add broth and onion powder. Heat to boiling, reduce heat to low. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Add clams with it's liquid (do not use shrimp liquid if using shrimp instead) simmer 2 minutes more, stirring gently to break up tuna if that is what you are using. Serve over hot cooked pasta, spaghetti or linguine are good choices. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
