Souper Cauliflower

1 lrg. head cauliflower, cut into flowerets

2 tbsp. butter or margarine

1/2 cup chopped green pepper(optional)

1 cp. sliced fresh mushrooms

1 can(10-3/4oz) cream of celery soup(or cream of mushroom)

1/2 cp. milk

1 cp. shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cp. buttered bread crumbs

In covered 10 inch fry-pan over medium heat, in 1 inch boiling water, cook cauliflower 10 minutes or until tender crisp. Remove from heat and drain. In same pan over medium heat, in hot butter cook green pepper and mushrooms until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in soup and milk, mix well. Stir in cheese. Return cauliflower to pan and heat through. Sprinkle with topping before serving.
