Well, as I established in the first page, my name is Rachel. I'm 16 years old and go to Belle Vernon High School where I am currently going to be a junior. I'm in the band where I play drums/tenor sax. I also play hockey for the Mon Valley Thunder and Swim for the school. I also play drums in martinettes, a local drum corps.
The best way to describe what I like to do mostly invovles my music. I've been reading music since I was in 1st grade, and have been playing it since 2nd. I can play 6 instuments (tenor sax, alto sax, drums, a little bit of trumpet, piano and I'm learning guitar as we speak). I play in a community band (M.A.R.S. band..HOMIE G!!!), and like I said I play snare drum in Martinettes, which is a local drum corps with kids mostly from BVA and Charleroi, and some from Ringold. I played alto sax in the Westmorland County Junior High County band last year, sitting 3rd chair 2nd alto. I plan on majoring in music in college.
I'm also involved in alot of sports. I play right/left wing on my hockey team, and I swim for the high school. My fav. event is (believe it or not) the 200 IM. I hope next year I will drop my times more and qualify on a relay team for W.P.I.A.L.
