Seven million nine hundred and ninety nine thousand nine hundred and ninety nine bottles of beer on the wall.. seven million nine hundred and ninety nine thousand nine hundred and ninety nine bottles of beer. If one of those bottles should happen to fall there'd be seven million nine hundred and ninety nine thousand nine hundred and ninety eight bottles of beer on the wall!

Over the years I have seen many pets take up residency in my house. At present... there are, in existence, only 5% of all the life forms in the history of this planet alive at any one time! Much the same could be said of my pets. Although a much larger percent are still with us we have, over my eighteen years, had so many animals live out their short furry lives! Here is a gallery of the present numbers! :)
My Friends and their pages... they're not all up there yet, obviously! But bare with with me :)
The Answer To Everything?! !)
About a year ago while not paying attention in chemistry I theorised a sphere... a totally impossible object that could not exist in our reality. This sphere had a radius of negatvie infinity and so seemed to be 'contracting' at an infinite speed! At the time this idea seemed much more interesting than Kp / Kc equations but after a little more thought of the properties of such a sphere I had a revelation... it seemed to act in exactly the opposite way to our universe as we know it... and so the LITTLE BANG THEORY was born.
For anyone who's bothered the actual equation is around here somewhere... but for ther rest of humanity... what follows is what I wrote at the time, that time being late at night during a bout of insomnia, my exploration into this imaginary bubble... you may find it amusing if you find it at all. Please.. do not try to read any more signifigance into this... it may lead to madness. Any enthusiasm on my part is purely co-incidental and due to the amusing concept therein! But whatever the outcome... enjoy! :)
'Everything that follows is purely conjecture and hypothesis based on my personal understanding of things. It is wide open to suggestion and I, as always, reserve the right to change my mind should something better arise.'
'The above equation represents a sphere of infinitely small radius. It would be contracting at a phenomenal rate as it tries to approach zero but will always have a radius greater than zero and so can never fully collapse. By our comprehension it is a meaningless speck of nothingness which we would reason to be nothing. At the very least it would approach nothingness and therefore be given as much consideration. This is reasonable as a volume of space the size of next to nothing as viewed from it's exterior may as well not exist as any applied force would be seemingly ineffectual.
However, this space as viewed from it's interior, would seem as vast an expanse of space as could possibly exist. To all intents and purposes, of the occupants of this space, it would be infinity.
The pursuit of photons: The boundaries of this sphere would be inexorably crashing towards each other at such a speed as to 'out-run' light. Any radiation moving towards the sphere would never reach it as it's boundary would be moving away from it at a much greater speed. However, there is the question of the other side of the sphere which would actually be moving towards the offending light particle. Well, for it to impact on the particle it would have to first go through the side nearest the particle and as that can't happen it would never happen. This is all really unimportant as by our standards or the standards of anything exterior to the sphere it would never begin to happen in the first place. As far as the sphere would be concerned our time would stand still and it would flash through known existence in less than an instant.
Living space: As this is a sphere of infinitely small radius, i.e. continually decreasing, it could contain an infinite number of spheres of the same radius as the original sphere and they would each exhibit similar properties. This sphere could also contain an infinite number of objects of a similar radius. Measurement as we understand it would be pointless as everything within the sphere would have it's own point of reference. Anything within the sphere would be trapped inside as it could also never reach the boundary as the distance between each would also always be greater than zero as the object would also be contracting at the same rate, the distance to the edge would seem to remain the same.
The spare room: As the sphere could contain any number of spheres of equal radius with equal or similar properties, they could each, at one time or an other, occupy the same space. From our point of view they would all seem to occur at once as one. Or from the point of view inside the sphere they could exist together as concentric spheres separated by an infinitesimally small fraction of time (as measured from inside the sphere).
To really drag this point out these could be seen to represent an undefined number of undefined dimensions.
The Universe in a nut-shell: To put all this together, this sphere of infinitesimally large volume could be seen to represent our universe. There is that small but significant point that our universe is known to be expanding at a phenomenal rate with all points expanding or moving away from one another simultaneously, and in my magic sphere all points would be moving towards each other simultaneously... well... Don't forget that all points inside my magic sphere would be moving towards each other at an infinitely high speed. It is known by our standards that time dilates or seems to slow down as we approach the speed of light. Every point inside the sphere, including the outer boundaries, would be moving infinitely faster than the speed of light such that time would either slow down, stop, or seem to go the other way. Well for time to slow the sphere would have to begin contracting at a slower rate than infinity, but it doesn't because it's rate of change remains constant and without acceleration of any kind. For time to stop the sphere would have to stop, slow down, or seem to do these things but it won't because it is contracting at a constant rate without acceleration of any kind. So the only remaining option which is presently within my comprehension is for time to 'go the other way'... In which case from our point of reference inside the sphere all points would seem to move away from each other simultaneously in an ever expanding universe with seemingly infinitely spaced boundaries.'
'To understand this sphere and everything it repressents is to understand everything'.
