This album would most definitly be 4 stars if it wasn't for the god-awful production. I don't mean sloppy, lo-fi, garagey production, because that would be fine, it's just that this album's mixing is horrible. You can barely hear the vocals or the bass. Other then that, the music is great. Pop-punk ala The Queers, etc. Not to mention it only costs $6. Well worth it.

Comments The first, and by far the best album out of Ben Weasel 'n' crew. Even for those who don't like Screeching Weasel's newer records, this is a must. Screaming, lo-fi, catchy, poppish punk rock. You know 'em, you love 'em, now go get this record.

Comments A CD-only collection of all SW 7" releases, including cuts from the ultra-rare Ramones cover LP on Underdog Records. A whole butt-load of tracks that just plain rock, although my friend has had my CD for about an eternity now (Kary: If by some twist of fate you are reading this, I WANT MY CD BACK!!!!! NOW!!!!)
Best Songs I Wanna be a Homosexual, Hey Suburbia, Celena

Comments A bunch of people will probably get on me for not having this on vinyl, but for God's sake I'm a member of the MTV generation, you think I know how to work those big fancy record players? In any case, if you don't have this album get off my page. Plain and simple. If you don't have it, we don't want your kind around here.

Finally, a modern day Oi! band. Picture the Sex Pistols meet the Exploited. They sing about the FBI, police, and letting dogs choose our president...how much punker can you get? It's loud, it's snotty, it's punk...and even better, it's cheap. I got mine for $6 and that was at a record store, it should be less then $5 direct. You can spare that. C'mon, trust me.

Comments Snotty, snotty, snotty. What else can I say? I could say that this is a very good record and that you should get it right away. I could say that it's hillarious and catchy as all hell. But I'm not gonna, because you're going to buy it and find that out for yourself because I said so.

Comments I would have to say that this is the best punk record ever. It is British hardcore the way it is suppossed to be: hard, fast, tight, loud, and obnoxious. Great lyrics, too. There should be more bands as good as Subhumans...the punk world would be a much happier place.

Comments Another great by the Subhumans. This was their first full-length record and it is just as good as their first four amazing EP's.

Comments Subhumans began their new-wave period with this record, which is till very good. But many people don't like new-wave punk (Dead Kennedy's, etc.). I do, but I have to admit that their early hardcore is by far their best work and can't help but wish they had stayed with that sound until the end. Since they didn't, though, fans of bands like Dead Kennedy's will love this, and fans of Subhumans will find enough here to like it too.
