...you are led in silence to door, which swings slowly open as your host approaches it. Beyond the
large, ornately carved, oak door is a small, white walled room which is lit by a skylight. A beam
light casts itself upon a large, leather-bound book on a marble stand which has been set in the exact
middle of the room.
As you enter the room, the door behind you shuts itself, and you are alone. You approach the book.
On the cover is the embossed title...
The Swarming Midget
Film Name Archive.
Upon opening the volume, you see, scrawled in black ink, an inscription.
The words you are about to read are the sacred Names Of Films We Will Someday Make,
created in joint effort by Sirs Anthony T. Paglia and James H. Turner. Would you be so curious
as to browse this tome, we ask that you would do so with much laughter and silliness, as well as
a respect for the originality of its creators. Wouldst you care to borrow one of our creations,
with which to name a short story, film, poem, recipe, or national holiday, we would ask that you
might write to us, with your intent and purpose stated. After all, words are just words, and they
should be shared with others. It is as such that we would share ours with you. Enjoy.
July Twenty-Eighth, Nineteen Hundred and Ninety-Six,
Anthony T. Paglia
