SPROCKET-With Scott from 12XU on vocals, you know what their influences are: good old 80's Cali punk, such as T.S.O.L. and Agent Orange. They even cover "Code Blue!" "Leave me alone, I wanna ride my bike!" Their lyrics are sincere and passionate. Right now they are in a line-up change, as Dan (the drummer) is leaving. If you haven't seen or at least heard these guys, you must be living under a rock. They play many shows, so hop on your BMX to one of their shows! Sprocket has a 7" out on Buddhakat Records, "Hide the Bodies."
THE SIDE AFFECTS-One of Lancaster's greatest pop bands. You know these guys are cool when they have a song about The Goonies! Their songs are well crafted, not sickenly sweet, just pleasantly poppy. The kind of songs you find yourself humming out of nowhere. The guys are sweethearts, and they have catchy guitar hooks, strong melodies, and heartful (is that even a word?) lyrics. The Side Affects have a self titled tape out, and a 7" on Buddhakat Records.
STILETTO BOYS-Punk rock at its finest!!! The Stiletto Boys play '77 style punk rock 'n' roll, influenced by the likes of such bands as The Dead Boys and The Dickies. Sean's voice is amazing, and the music just enhances it. Seeing them play will want to make you dance all night long. They don't play out much, so be sure not to miss their next show. The Stiletto Boys have 2 seven inches out on Zodiac Records.
