In The Mind's Eye > 2

Isaac walked into his room and winced as his bare feet trod on a sharp piece of Lego.

"Zac! Didn't I tell you to pick these damn things up?" he cursed and limped over to his bed. He pulled his foot up and inspected it, not seeing anything amiss.

His younger brother looked up from the computer. "No."

"I did tell you, you know."

Zac shrugged and turned back to the screen. "No."

Isaac rolled his eyes and glanced at the mess around them. "Finished packing?" he asked blunty.

Zac's suitcase sat in the middle of the floor, bloated with wrinkled clothes.

The other boy shrugged again, eyes fixed to the screen.

Ike rolled his eyes.

---

"These guys are nuts." Zac announced aloud.

"Who?" Ike asked and made his way carefully to the computer.

Zac waved his hand at the screen. "All these girls. They're fanatics."

Ike shrugged. "Of course they are. They can't resist me."

It was Zac's turn to roll his eyes. "Yeah, right."

Someone else entered the room. Noisily.

---

"Ow. Zac!" Taylor Hanson yelled as he trod on the offending Lego pieces.

"What?" Zac yelled, sick of being yelled at.

"Clean up your mess!" Taylor yelled back and he walked over to his bed, shoving all the clothes on it over into a mound.

Zac crossed his eyes and made a sour face, but didn't get up.

Isaac just watched as Taylor leaned over and tried to find his clothes in the mess on the floor.

"Any luck?" he teased.

Taylor stood and brushed his hair back. "No." he said sourly.

Isaac sighed. "With this mess, just throw all the clothes into the suitcases. We all pretty much share clothes anyhow."

Taylor just kicked a black shirt across the room. "Good idea."

"When are we leaving?" Zac asked suddenly, eyes still pasted to the computer screen.

Isaac checked his watch. "7:30."

Zac glanced at the wall clock. It was 2:00PM. "We've got enough time."
