-CHAPTER 15-
A few days later, with only 4 days to go, I trudged into the recording studio. The silence was tangible.
I cleared my throat. "Let's go."
We worked as hard as possible. We got through 2 songs in one day.
The next was the same. By the 3 days to deadline, we were all done.
I grabbed my bottle of water and took a swig. I faced the recording booth and asked if we were done.
"Yeah. That's it. All finished." Zac reported.
I just nodded. I would normally go out and party after completing half of my forthcoming album, but now all I wanted to do was go home and sleep.
I wiped my face on my towel and sighed.
"Good work." Isaac said softly and patted me on the back.
I went over to Tay to congratulate him on good work. "Good going."
He didn't look at me. "Same."
I looked at the wet strands of blonde hair sticking to his face. "Well, have a good wedding." I said.
He looked at me for the first time in 3 days. "You're not coming." he stated.
I nodded. "I leave tomorrow. I don't need to be around."
He just blinked.
I nodded. "Bye. I'll try to keep in touch."
He nodded as well, but knew that probably wouldn't happen.
I walked out to the lobby for the last time. I turned and gave the thumbs up to the guys. "Thank you, guys. I owe you one."
