Only After Forever

-EPILOGUE-

2 years later:

At the post office, Jarvis Dreyson sorted through the undelivered mail. He came across one titled: Jordan H. The address was hard to distinguish. It must have gotten wet.

There was also no return address - only a postmark from Australia.

He threw the letter into the discard pile. "Hope that wasn't important." he muttered and went on sorting.

Dear Taylor,

I don't know if you've heard, but this June Kris passed away. She was diagnosed with hepatitis A. She did not suffer and she was with her friends and family.

She gave me the letter enclosed to send to you and swore that if anyone but you read it, she'd come back and haunt me forever.

Please keep in touch, Tay. I would love to hear from you. I hope this does not upset you too deeply... we've all lost someone who brightened up our lives. We just need to remember her good points.

Not all is lost, however. We have our own little reminder of Kris...

Love,
Jamie B.

Tay-Face,

Well, if you have this, this means I've corked it and gone on. Aren't I special? *sigh* Oh well, hey. At least I can watch over you for the ages to come. *Kristen laughs* Yeah, that means when you go to the toilet as well.

Remember what I told you the winter of '98?

An end is never the end. It's just a new beginning.

Amen, man, amen. Just remember that... And never forget.

I will never stop loving you...
I'll stop only after forever

Isaac has told me that you wrote that song when you were only 15... after I left. Understand that I when we recorded it together 2 years ago, I sang it to you; for you.

You know what? The one thing I want from you is not to cry, weep or get hysterical. I can't stand sissy men. Especially when they are the father of my child. I never regretted that night. I hope you don't.

My deepest love,
Kris

PS. Give Ike and Zac a smack for me...

PSS. I just love dots...

PSSS. By the way, I'm allowed to get all mushy because I won't have to face you. I'd be too embarassed. *grin*

...

...end...
