I washed my hands in the sink, and glanced in the mirror. My dark green eyes looked serious.
Sighing, I wiped my hand on a towel, and turned to open the door when something caught my eye.
"A condom?" I said aloud, staring at the packet in the rubbish bin. Raising my eyebrows, I threw some tissue on top of it, and left.
Jamie sat next to Taylor, face blanched as she watched Scream 2.
"You okay?" I whispered.
She nodded. "This part is cool." she answered, smiling weakly.
"If you need me, though..." I told her, knowing she was putting up a brave front. Looking at the screen, I made a face, and headed for the door. "I'm going."
No one answered me. "Bye!" I yelled.
Zac grunted. "Love you too, Zaccerpoo." I muttered, and pulled open the large door. Standing in the large corridor, I breathed deeply, and listened to the silence. Looking up and down, and seeing no one, I grinned.
"All clear!" Getting down onto the floor, I counted loudly. "On your mark! Get set!... GO!" and I sprinted down along the long hall.
Laughing like a maniac, I ran back. Feeling pretty good, I ran around the whole floor. Just as I came around a corner, an angry maid started over to tell me off, I ran faster to the room. Like majic, the door opened, and I flung myself in.
"OooF!" someone yelled.
"Shut it! Shut it!" I shrieked, jamming the door closed with my foot. When the door shut, and I heard the reassuring click, I collapsed into a heap.
I giggled. I giggled harder when I realized the floor I was on was moving. And instead of being the white carpet, it was dark blue. Like Isaac's shirt.
"Hi Isaac." I laughed, and looked up.
He stared up at me.
"Lemme up." I said, and struggled up off of him.
"Ow!" he yelped, face warped. He bent over, whimpering.
"What?" I asked, standing above him, holding my hand out.
Face red, he said "You're bony." and I pulled him up.
"Huh?" I asked, wiping my hot face.
Jamie was staring, and Zac and Taylor were literally pissing themselves laughing.
"Yeah, Ike! Bony!" Zac hooted.
Isaac blushed, and my eyes popped out as he hobbled away. He may have been rubbing his shoulder, but it wasn't that that some bony limb of mine had caught.
Taylor looked at Kristen, and laughed harder. "She's red! Ike! She knows!" he laughed, remembering where she put her knee when she got up and Ike's expression. A pure Kodak moment.
"Not funny." I muttered, eyeing Ike. I hoped I hadn't sterilized the poor bugger. "Sorry."
"Bony!" Zac was shrieking.
There was a knock at the door.
"Oh shit!" I yelled, and dove behind the couch. "I'm not here! I'm not here!" I yelled at the others.
The knock came again.
Taylor, wiping wet eyes, got up, and answered the door.
"Oh hi." he said, laughing.
"Are you okay? Did you see someone running by?" asked a woman, probably the maid. "Yeah." Taylor said, chuckling, refraining from telling her the door was closed. "Saw them with my x-ray vision." he laughed as he swung the door back and forth.
She gave him a dirty look.
"No, I didn't. The. Door. Was. Closed." he spelt out like she was a simpleton.
"What's so funny?" asked the suspicious maid.
"We're watching Scream 2." screamed Zac.
"Yeah, right Zac. Just packed with comedy." I muttered to him, and he threw the TV guide at me. I muffled my laughter.
"I'm coming to get you!" I said loudly, my voice gravelly and rough.
"Eek!" Zac screamed, and ran around the room in circles. "The couch talks! The couch talks!"
The maid sighed, and left.
"All's clear." Taylor said, and I popped out from behind the couch.
"Taylor! You liar!" I cried, and ducked behind the couch again when I saw the door wide open. Hearing the door click, I jumped up, grasping some carrot stick that had fallen behind the couch, and pointed it at Taylor like a gun.
"Away from the door slowly." I told him seriously.
He put his hands up. "You too." I told Zac, seeing him reach for a potato chip bag.
"And you." I told Isaac, who was back to health. The three backed up against the wall.
"Jamie? You on my side?" I asked her, not looking away from the boys.
"Yeah." she said softly, and got onto her feet. She held a piece of celery.
"Where's Jess?"
"In the toilet." Jamie reported.
"Damn! We'll have to do this without her!" I muttered, and reached down to dip my carrot in the dip. I had only taken my eyes off the boys for a second to locate the dip bowl, but it was enough.
"Oof!" I huffed as I was tackled. Zac threw me to the floor, and my head landed on his hand as he cushioned the fall.
"Merciful, evil male?" I cackled up at him.
"No." he said, and pulled his hand from behind my head, banging it.
"Ow!" I yelped, and shoved the dipped carrot stick in his ear.
"Yuck!"
So started a full scale war. I grabbed the dip bowl, and ran after Zac. Just as I was about to pounce on him, I was pulled from behind around the waist by someone.
I leapt back, and landed in their lap on the couch. Turning around, I found Taylor grinning up at me.
I grinned back. "Eat this!" I yelled, but he was ready. A pack of crushed potato chips flew at my face, exploding chips everywhere. They showered all around us.
"You little!" I screamed, grabbing at him as he tried to scramble away. The only thing close at hand was his rat tail, and I pulled that.
"Hey!" he winced.
"C'mere!" I yanked, and he fell back to the floor against my legs. He looked up at me, blue eyes wide.
I grabbed my dip, and filled my hands with it as I kept him pinned down by his rat tail with my shoe. Grinning unpleasantly, I reached down and wiped his face with dip, and washed his hair thoroughly with it.
"Hi, Taylor." and with that, I greeted him.
