CHAPTER NINETEEN

As quickly as it came, it stopped.

I looked around, careful not to let Tay go. Jamie's arms were pinned back by Isaac, her hair covered with Cheezy Poofs. His hair was full of beef soup, and his face was dark brown. A potato slid down his cheek.

Zac, on the other hand, was trapped under a clean looking Jessica. She sat on him, pinning him on the couch. He had carrots and broccoli trapped in his hair.

"Wanna tell me how this started?" she asked, bouncing slightly on Zac. He only grunted.

"Just saying 'hi' the traditional Aussie way, Jess. Aren't I, Tay??" I asked my prisoner.

"Yep." he said, watching me.

"Yep. So, looks like Girls win, 2-1." I said, counting the captures.

"You tell 'em, Kris!" Jamie yelled, grinning. Isaac mocked growled at her.

"Yeah!" Jessica agreed, bouncing some more.

"Hey!" Zac yelled.

"Sorry."

"I feel grubby." I said. Everyone else nodded.

"I'm going to have to take a shower." Isaac said, some peas dotting his face.

"Same." said a pasty faced Taylor from the floor.

"Mmm." came Zac's muffled reply from the couch.

"No, I know." Jessica said, getting off her captive. "Let's go swimming." she told us, remembering the large pool she saw.

"Cool!" I said, letting Taylor's rat tail go.

"Nice Nikes, Kris." he muttered.

Isaac let his grip of Jamie go, and she swung her arms around, getting the feel back into them.

"But my face. And Tay's." he said, motioning to his brother.

"Yeah." Taylor nodded as I helped him up.

"Owie!" I yelled as his grip grew tight and painful on mine. I punched his shoulder and he let go.

"Sorry."

"I wish I had brothers to bash." Jessica said, looking at Zac.

"Nuh uh!" he said, backing away. "Go find your 'brother' somewhere else!"

"You bash us anyways, Jess." I reminded her.

"But it's not the same."

"Are we going?" Jamie asked impatiently.

"Yeah." and we split to find our bathing suits.
