CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT

"Interviews!" Isaac told us, walking into the room.

"What?" I asked, looking up from my maths work.

"We're going to be interviewed." Isaac simplified.

"Joy. Good luck." I said unenthusiastically, and went back to my quadratic equations.

"No, You're coming." he told me.

"What?" Jamie looked up from the TV. She was watching some soap.

"We're all being interviewed." Isaac simplified even more.

"What?" I repeated. "Why for? I mean, what for?"

"You're playing at our concerts, so they wanna talk to 'Australia's hottest group since Nat Imbruglia'."

"Yuck. I hate her." I grimaced, and went back to my work. "I mean, she came off of Neighbours for Chrissake!"

"Well, get dressed. It's in 1 hour."

I shot straight up, and started to get dressed. 1 hour might seem a while in normal time, but for us entertainers, 1 hour was too short to get to the destination, get made-up, and briefed about the interview.

"Why didn't you tell us?" I yelled at him.

"I just did." he said over his shoulder, and he walked back to his room.

I pulled on some striped pants, a black tee, and some bright blue Docs.

"Docs, Kris?" Jamie asked, pulling on some jeans.

"Yeah."

"What about Zac?" she kept on, pulling some Nikes on.

"What about him?" I asked, tearing a brush through my hair.

"He wears Docs!"

"So does about a billion other people." I shot at her, and tied my hair back. I stood in front of the large floor-to-ceiling mirror and saw stereotypical Kris. Black pants, black shirt, blue shoes, black watch, silver rings and bracelets, and a cocky grin.

"Ready?" I asked Jamie as she brushed her hair and left it loose.

"Yeps." she confirmed, and we ran into the boys' room, almost catching Zac with his pants down.

"Hey, man!" he cried, and pulled his slacks up.

"Sorry." I told him, not looking. "Where's Ike, Tay, and Jess?" I asked looking around.

"In the lobby." Zac muttered. He pulled on his yellow Docs, and then ran out of the room. "Let's go!"
