Hola! Soy de España y hace menos de un año descubrí la música de este fantástico grupo que es Asia. Me gusta el rock progresivo en general y había escuchado anteriormente cosas de Yes, King Crimson y ELP, grupos de procedencia de los componentes de la formación clásica de Asia. No tengo por ahora ningún disco de la era Payne, pero con el tiempo me compraré el "Aqua" porque me han dicho que es un disco sensacional. Por ahora, tengo sólo los tres primeros, y las canciones que más me gustan son "Heat of the moment", "Wildest dreams", "Here comes the feeling", "Cutting it fine", "Open Your Eyes" y "Don´t Cry". Quería,finalmente, felicitaros por esta gran página dedicada a esta gran banda. Saludos desde Galicia (España); que se sepa que hay también fans de Asia en este país.

Hi everybody! I was at school when I first listened to ASIA. Those were the days of the endless leisure and very few study efforts. We had to record music from Polish radio. It was the only reliable source of delivering new albums. The Western music was the subject of rohibition in this country during the cold war and Iron Curtain. Now the times have changed, but there are not so many alterations as to getting old good music here. I have a dream to collect first 3 studio albums on CDs but I can’t find here a single CD Of course I could try to buy on-line, but it will be impossible to pay for the order from here. I have already tried it. I left no stone unturned trying to find my favorite bands CDs, but in vain. If anyone could help me to get some of these (spare CDs o copies) we could device something. NAPSTER and MP3 is not the subject of consideration.

This is a very interesting page, well done, I had a nice time. Asia is one of my favorite bands; their music is brilliant. They never stop their evolution, they continue to push boundaries and their upcoming album "Aura" promises to be the best one yet. I'm thinking it'll be continuing with the jazz-rock direction they set out with on "Arena", but with a less laid-back approach and more of a harder edge. Who knows? Asia has never made the same album twice since '92. I hope this website is updated when the new album is released. Word is that Asia might even tour. Desde que me regalaron mi primer disco "Aqua" no he podido dejar de admirar y seguir este flor de bandon . Asia es lo mejor ,sea con Wetton o con Payne : el sonido elaborado , la voz de sus cantantes y el clima tan especial en que te sumergen las cancio- nes ,es realmente de otro mundo. I really enjoyed the asia page. I cannot stand this loser John Payne!! I saw him perform back in 92 and almost threwup!! This man cannot sing to save himself! He is a dirtbag!! I am a professional singer who was professionally trained.Trust me:Payne s cks! Aqua is one of the most pathetic works that I have ever heard!! It is simple and unrefined pop-metal! No substance, no heart at all! This band turned into a poison remake overnight! I sincerely hope the original members get back together so Payne can go and clean toilets for a living! What a horrible excuse for a singer and musician!!
