Chapter Eleven
"Hey Nicole, I'm gonna take a shower now." Erin called from the kitchen. "Did you want to take one after ?"
"Yeah, I should." answered Nicole.
"Okay, I'll be quick then." Erin assured her.
Erin took a very quick shower then let Nicole know it was her turn. When Nicole was out, the two girls started doing their hair and make up.
When they were done with that it was about four-thirty.
Erin went to change into her new outfit while Nicole was finishing in the bathroom.
Erin returned in ten minutes wearing her newly bought clothes.
"What do you think ?" questioned Erin.
"It looks awesome !" encouraged Nicole. "Let me go put mine on now."
While Nicole was changing, Erin applied some mascara to her eyelashes and ran a brush through her hair.
"Hmm...perfect !" exclaimed Nicole as she walked back into the bathroom.
"Yeah, it looks really good !" Erin assured her.
All of the sudden the phone rang. Erin went to her room and answered it.
"Hello ?" she said.
"Hey, are you almost ready ?" Kevin asked.
"Yup, just waiting for you." Erin answered.
"Okay, I'll be there in ten minutes." he said.
"Alright...see you then." Erin finished, hanging up the phone.
"Okay, he's going to be here in ten minutes." Erin relayed to Nicole.
"Well, I'm ready. Are you ?" asked Nicole.
"Yeah, let's go downstairs and wait." Erin said as she switched off the bathroom light.
The girls walked down the stairs and went to sit in the living room. They both sat in silence while waiting for Kevin. For some reason they were both a bit nervous.
