Backstreet Boys were named by Brian. He named them after the Backstreet Market, in Orlando, Florida. It's an open-air markets where teens hung out. (It's now torn down)

Brian-"I bite my fingernails. I've bitten them all my life. My mom was always like, 'Get your fingers out of your mouth!' I've tried to stop and it's something that bothers me because when I'm signing autographs, the girls are like, 'You bite your fingernails!' But I still do it."
Nick-"I don't have many friends. I just have these guys."
Howie-"I'm sick of gummi bears! I said I like them, so I got sent so many from fans that I've had enough. I'm also trying to stay away from chocolates, too."
Kevin-"I wish I had A.J.'s voice. He has that raspy, soul funk voice and Brian has the smooth, Kenny Loggins voice. Mine is really pure, nothing special."
A.J.-"I really embarassed myself when we did a photo shoot. I was dressed like the Ridler in green spandex--I looked just like Jim Carrey! Anyway, I went out on stage and introduced our two opening acts dressed like that! The audience went absolutely nuts and the guys couldn't believe I did it!"
