Are you more excited or more nervous about how huge BSB have become in the U.S.?
Both. I'm very excited. I'm very happy, but yet, I'm very nervous because you never know what the future holds. We've worked so very hard all over the world to come back here. Who knows?!
When you joined the group, did you know it would take you this far?
I had no expectations, because I really had no idea what I was getting myself into!
What did you want to do before the group?
I was very close to finishing high school, I was 18 years old. I was looking to graduate and I was offered a singing scholarship to the Unversity of Cincinnati Bible College. I was going to go 'cause it's only about 100 miles from Lexington, KY where I grew up. That way I would be close to home, yet away from home...I played basketball in high school. I was hoping to maybe play basketball and be normal...athletics have been an important part of my life, every since I was little in addition to the singing.
When you joined the Backstreet Boys, did you leave anyone behind or break any hearts?
I didn't really ahve a high school sweetheart when I left home, so that was kind of good. We meet girls everywhere, but it's hard to spend the time to really know somebody. I had someone at home, but...it was just a mutual thing. It's just tough, I'm never home...better as a friendship.
Do you ever travel with anyone?
My brother came on the road...He wanted to meet all the girls!
