For The Day
"Paddle in a puddle, Ride in a saddle, Meddle in a
muddle, And add in a riddle," Shouted
out the girl, crazily.
"Junne, could you please shut that hell up? They are here!"
Said Akaly to Junne, the only
one who's shouting.
Sarah ogled naughtily and asked,"They? Who? Jim Carey?"
There were smiles on the
faces-in their very own naughty
behaviour. There's a pause by sudden. It's the third day of Spike's
missing.
"We have something to show ya,"
cried Jimmy and Akaly, at the same time.
Sarah and Lee took out a maps.
"What I got on my mind is that we all want to tell the very same thing.
So how if Mr. Constable explains it ," suggested Sarah.
In a few minutes time, Jimmy was ready
with the map,
"Look at this," he pointed somewhere on the map.
"There are a few islands here but hey, do you know
this island?"
"Of course, It's 'Lost Stone Island' ," shouted the girls in delight.
"So you all think that Mr. Dawbarn is there too, I suppose,"
cried Sarah,"Good gracious! Whatever we intend to do next?"
"Get a ticket to the island and peep here and
there, hoping to see
Mr. Dawbarn," answered Junne.
"Tapi tak de duit. cam mana?," added Sarah.
"What's that?," asked Lee.
"It's mean that we got to hurry, coz he might be
in danger," bluffed
Sarah, ogled at Junne with full
of meaning.
"Oh..We see."
It took ages to come to the end of
the journey to the unknown
isle. There, up a hill--they can see a tower.
"Hey, I can see Cate Winslet at the
window!" joked Sarah.
"Junne, do you see what I see?," asked Akaly.
"Yep, nope! What is it? I can only see the stones,
trees, that squarell......"
"No. I see a crazy fellow and she is beside
Lee," teased Akaly, ogleing to
good young Sarah.
"Sarah, how glad I am,"
added Junne, teasing.
Sarah punched them,"Well, thanks a lot!"
"Awch! Kata tadi, terima kasih banyak. Ni tumbuk
kita pula. Aduh...,"
sighed Junne,"What should we do next?" This makes everyone think.
"Explore this island. Jimmy, you go
with Akaly. Junne
and Sarah can stalk off togather and...."
"How about you?." intersect
the minxs.
"I'll go alone," answered Lee, smiling.
"No!," roared Sarah and Junne,
"You're just trying to be annoying. Fancy
thinking to let you go alone"
"We're going with you. We'll never let you put
yourself in
trouble. Please, oh...please. We don't wanna wait for the day any
longer," argued Sarah.
"Please, please, please," added Junne.
Jimmy didn't want to spoil the day, so they stalked off ahead them.
"Meet again at nine." cried Akaly.
The two girls talked and talked then
talked again, but it's useless.
Lee did not change his mind.
The girls stared at each other,
trying to read whatever on
their mind and at once nodded.
"Okay, fine. We'll go on separate way. We
won't
pay attention to you, remember that," they
looked rather sulkily.
"Good. See ya," Lee walked away.
The girls had been thinking of following Lee.
They'd do anything they wanted to do, coz they were free.
They'd kick everyone who obstructed
them and tied them
up top the sun without thinking of humanity-looked rather obstinate.
"Where's Mr. Brennan?," whispered Junne.
The lucky guy abruptly disappeared,
nowhere to
be seen. They followed on his shoeprints.
The sand was smooth and golden, and
felt pleasant to their bare feet."Where's Lee?
We shouldn't have let this
happen!" cried Sarah, worried.
If the guy did not use magic,
how did he disappered from their sight.
Actually when Lee reached the big stones on the beach,
he hided behind them that nobody could see him.
The prints that the minxs followed did not belonge to him
but it was someone else who might had been walking there before
them.
"We'll be sorry if something happens to
him!"
"I won't, cuz he disappered by himself.
However, I'm gonna be sad if something
bad happens!" said Junne tried not
to fidget.
"Hey, those are not his shoeprints. they're so
big, see? How come we were so
foolish....," said Sarah, half shouting,"He
cheated us!"
"Or we cheated ourselves,"
added Junne, smiling lengthly to Sarah and for herself.
Lee laughed out loud, at last made up his
mind to show himself.
"Umm...Well done girls. Kinda good detectives!" At once he chuckled,
"Wonderful!"
There are a guffaw from the minxs,
"You're quite bad, Mr. Brennan. That can make someone kick your ass,"
said the girls, hitting Lee's shoulder.
Jimmy and Akaly came to an old black house.
It had rather small windows, very dirty indeed,
and it looked dark and dreary inside when they
looked through the glass.
"The rungs don't look good to me,"
said Jimmy.
Two of the rungs broke as he trod on them and he fell.
"Are you alright, Jimmy?," thundered Akaly.
"Yea, don't worry," answered him.
"I hope so. Emm...this house's just like a vampire
house," said Akaly as her
manes bristling, though there is
no ghost anywhere.
"I don't like it. Now what?"
"I don't think that anybody lives here. We ought to go now. We found
nothing. We're just wasting our time. Come on," decided Jimmy, a
bit
disappointed.
"No way! We're here, so we should take a look more
closer. He might be
tied in the house..."
"Hide over there, quickly,"
Jimmy pulled her hand to hide behind
a big
tree where they were standing.
Akaly puzzled,"What's the problem?," whispered Akaly.
Jimmy pointed to a smeared girl at the
door,
"I bet I'm wrong, baby, the girl's so cute, you know,"
Jimmy peered straight to the girl. For goodness' sake,
the girl was so cute and so babyfaced,
but just had a matter with her behaviour.
She's lifting a bucket and taking it to the ground.
"She's suck! She's carrying rats!"
said Akaly, not pleased.
Then the girl's digging the soil and
burying the rats one by one. Finally, she planted flowers on each of it.
"Sacrifice for my true love to Lee.
I promise to you my love that I'll never let you go,"
mumbled her, "Ha! Ha! Ha!"
They were confuced,"why is she laughing?,"
thought them and stared at each other,
"Lee? She might be wrong," said that quite loud in surprise.
At once the girl looked around angrily,
"Who's there? Come out at once! Oh..I know
you all want to take
him away from me. Go away clumsy, heavily built---you silly---stupid
rascal, human's no good!"
"Wow! She mentioned it all," whispered Akaly and was about to answer,
"But you...."
"Don't answer that girl, precious! She's crazy, I think," said Jimmy, quickly.
"O-tay! She's gone," cried Akaly.
"What?..."
Bubbh! Bubbh! Prakh!
"oh...."
"That's better! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!......"
It's half past five,
so they pushed their way through the
long sprays of
over--grown bushes and went back to the beach.
They found nothing, too. Junne's hopeing vainly,
she could have found the way to the
tower. There were a
dead silence. Then Sarah began to say,
"Lee, I'm worried about them. I couldn't
help myself thinking about if something terrifying happened to them,"
she walked to the left and to the
right then back to the left, never stopped.
"Janganlah mundar mandir...Naik pening kepala
hotak aku ni
tau!," accosted Junne for her
mate's walking like that.
She's worried indeed.
"Don't worry girls. They're gonna be here any
minute," Lee's just fine but
who knows deep inside.
"Lee, we wanna look for them, so if you wanna
stay, you may. See ya!,"
said the girls but pushing Lee to go with them at once.
They kept on looking until the sunset. How miserable --- they found. Spike was missing and now the two were gone !
"Huaa...," Lee's yawning.
Then the girls set a simple supper, green
lettuce, brown bread, butter and barley water,"We're
lucky, cuz we had taken along
all this," said Sarah,"I hope Akaly and Jimmy are alright"
Junne evoked Lee who was outside the ship,
so wide awake.
When they gathered at the table,
Junne who longed to be a menace, began to ask,"Lee,
I've
got a question for ya. Spike and Jimmy got enemy, what do you suppose?"
"I have no idea, precious," responded Lee.
"So someone kidnaped Mr. Dawbarn to get money, I
guess," said Junne
, munching the bread.
"No way! Cuz nobody has contacted them for a
money," argued
Sarah."That means the kidnaper's got another
reason."
Nobody would dare to kidnap them,
and Junne agreed with that this time,
"Only your fans dare to do that, I might right,"
said Sarah--expressing the
words to old great Lee.
"Good old Sarah! Yup, you're right. I'd do that,
too, but I couldn't, no,
I wouldn't capture Jimmy or Spike. For goodness' sake--- I'd kidnap you,
Mr. Brennan. Of course!", cried Junne,
"Well, I wouldn't do it, never! I've got a
particular reason, that is, I'd
better kidnap young 'Dennis the menace', my fav artist!"
It's good to be true but also, also
bad to be untrue! Oh..it's just a
matter of time.
"Good night, sleepy heads. Be ready for the next adventure."
"Oh...Lee...."
But could they close their eyes after
knowing what happened? Gracious! No!
