When we were in 7th grade, we wanted to start a band desperately.Gabe was starting to get better at the guitar, there was another kid (anonymous) who played guitar, and we had just found out that Travis had a drumset. So, we formed a band called Tiny Metal Gummy Bears. The problem was, we didn't have a bass player. Stuff told us that he would get a bass guitar so that we could have a full band. We never once had a full band rehearsal, though, and when we did rehearse as a partial band, we never got anthing accomplished (probably because of the extra guitar player). So, we broke apart. But in 8th grade, Travis and Stuff thought it would be cool to play for our church. Then, we got together to try to get a couple songs down, and we sounded really good! So we decided to give it another try. But now, Gabe was lead guitar, Ryan, who lives up the street from Gabe played rhythm guitar, and we needed to find a singer. We don't have a full-time singer, but Gabe and Ryan are going to try. Then, we needed a name. Well, one day, Gabe and Travis were at Sav-On, a thrift store, goofing around. Then Gabe said,"Woah! There is a lot of cool words in here. We should use one for our name!" So Travis found a sign that said "Deluxe Innerspring Mattress", and thought Innerspring would be a good name. So it stuck. We have rehearsed many times, and we are going to play at a talent show at a one week summer church camp, where last year, a band that played got offered money to play somewhere big. Maybe we will too!
