Backstreet Boys Concert March 29th, 1998!
Here's some pix from the concert Merete and I went to in March last year.
We didn't go to bed before like 2 am in the morning.
The next day at 4:45 am, the phone rang. It was time to get up and get out to stand in line for the concert. But no, we just wanted to sleep like 5 more mins. Then at 8am we woke up again. "Oh man... we overslept", we both said at the same time. You might think "What, overslept??? It's only 8 in the morning". Well, the only think we tought of was to get great seats at the concert. We got to the concert hall and waited with a bunch of other fans outside... And it was a looong waiting time. The TV came and filmed us, we even came on the news. And when ever we saw a bus we screamed hopeing that it was the BSB's. And it was one time too. I don't remember witch one it was, 'cos we screamed to like 10 buses...lol... The BSB's came to Oslo that day at 3pm. They didn't come the day before the concert 'cos... you know they where in Germany having a Unplugged concert. As you might know as A Night Out With The Backstreet Boys. Yes, that was the day before the concert in Norway.
But after waiting 11 hours outside the concerthall we got to come in. Then we had to wait for about 1/2 hour. Then we sat there on the flor waiting for stuff to happen. Merete and I thought we got a great place to stand. We culd see the stage pretty good and it was perfect only about 10-12 meters from the stage. Then this man came on stage and said "Nå kan dere reise dere" (you can stand up now). Everybody jumped up and was soo 'with it'. Then the light went out, and everyone was screaming. Then Thomas Jules Stock and N-Tyce cam out and preformed their songs. Then it was only seconds before the guys came on stage. But first this guy cam and said "The boys just came out of the shower, so they're hair is wet.....", man we where screaming when he said that. Picture yourself how sexy the boys is with wet hair. WOW. The guy also had AJ's towel and throwed it out to the croud. I wonder who got it.
Then *BAM* the boys came out singing "That's the way I like it"(TTWILI). It was so cool. They looked sooooo good. And they sounded soooo good.

Then after singing TTWILI, they sang IWBWY, and then Hey Mr. DJ. In the end of Mr.DJ, Howie went out a little bit before the others. I was watching him all the time, so I noticed it. And I though "Hey, where's he going. Howie come back..." Then I reliced that they where going to do the solo songs.
Howie sang "My heart stays with you". I was in Heaven when he sang it. They had some problems with the sound, but I heard him.
Then AJ sang "Lay Down Beside Me".
Kevin sang "Nobody But You".
Brian was sooo cute singing "That's What She said". A girl in the front gave him a big teddybear when he was singing.
Then the song I never thought I would hear at the concert came. The first time I heard it was here on the Internet in January last year. I never thought I would hear it live myself that night. Merete and I just looked at eachother when we heard the piano in the beginning and then... "Open up your heart to me, and say what's on your mind...." Yes, Nick stod there and he was singing "Heaven In Your Eyes", now known as "I Need You Tonight". Here's a pic of Him singing...

Then right after Nick's solo they sang "Let's Have A Party". And then they sang "Quit Playing Games" and also played the instruments. Here's a pic of them singing "Quit Playin...."

And then they sang "All I Have To Give", "Anywhere For You", "I'll Never Break Your Heart" and then "As Long As You Love Me". And they did the cool chair routine on ALAYLM too. Here's a pic of them doing the chair routine. From the left: Kevin, Brian, AJ, Nick and Howie.

Then they sang "we've got it goin on", and last but not least "EVERYBODY (Backstreet's Back"). I just loved that song... Live of course. They had lots of fireworks and stuff. They ame out in coffins and it was all that.. really cool.

But Then the whole thing was over. We went out of the hall, and walked in to 7-11 and bought something to drink. Then we went to the hotell. My mom told me not to go out after 11 pm that night, 'cos it's dangerous. But at 11:30 Merete and I wanted something to eat, so we went to McDonald's, but they closed 11:30.. bummer. But Then we went to Burger King, and brought the food home to the hotell. We sat there and ate Burger King and talked about the concert all night.... all right!!!! I'll never forget that day. It was the best day of my life. But in July I'll get a new chance to see them again. YES!!!!!!!
