Howie was excited about Maddie coming to the concert, the guys all knew he was looking forward to it and they were happy for him. They all knew he missed having a girlfriend and they hoped that he would find happiness soon.
Howie was in his hotel room trying to take a nap when he thought to call Maddie. "I have to tell her where to pick her pass up from." He took the slip of napkin he had written her number on and dialed.
"Hey...Its Maddie..I am out and my cat Tequila had threatened to move out if I made her answer another call so leave a message and if it turns me on I will call you back...”
Howie laughed...Maddie had spunk and he liked that "Hi sexy...I am lying in bed thinking of what I could do to you if you were here...Ummm sorry its just Howie...I just wanted to tell you that you can pick up your pass for tonight at the Will Call booth...I can't wait to see you"...and he hung up. He loved her throaty voice..he loved the way she dressed..damn she had caught his attention and was holding it...He turned on the radio and fell asleep.
Maddie was getting ready for work when she heard the phone ring, she was in the middle of blow drying her hair so she let the machine pick up..10 minutes later she walked in to the kitchen to make a smoothie for supper when she saw the blinking light.
”Hi Sexy...” the voice was so sexy...she laughed as she heard Howie's message...then she frowned...Damn I guess he didn't get my message...She made a mental note to try him again when she got to work. She finished her dinner, brushed her teeth and was out the door.

It was 5 minutes before show time and the boys were huddled for their pre show prayer. Brian led the prayer and they all ran to take their positions to go on stage. Howie was pumped for the show and couldn't wait to share his energy with the crowd in Ottawa and Maddie. He wanted to share his job with her...
When Howie went on stage he looked at the VIP section to find Maddie. He couldn't find her. Throughout the entire concert Howie kept glancing over hoping to see Maddie, but to no avail. He was very hurt..she had promised she would be there and she wasn't...she hadn't even called.

Work was nuts for Maddie, the club was crowded because they had Chris
Shepard as the guest DJ..it was wall to wall people, Maddie was run off
her
feet, but she was making excellent tips..She wishes she could be at the
concert but her rent was much more important. She sighed and walked
over to
table 3.
