"As if you have seen Prince twice" Kevin looked at Abbie in awe. "The man is a musical genius, he is the one musician that I would give anything to see perform"
"Hmm a backstreet boy is jealous of me, who would of thunk it" Abbie teased. She stared out the window as the scenery of Orlando whipped by her window. "So tell me about the rest of the band. I mean I have spent the last two days surfing the web and devouring every bit of information that I cann find on the five of you but I want to hear about the guys from you, its more personal"
"Brian is my cousin and he is engaged to a sweet woman named Leighanne, Nick is the baby of the group though he is almost as tall as me. AJ is the wild one and Howie is the peacemaker and ladies man of the group"
"Hmm okay noted that, but I seem to missing the description of a great guy that I know is also a member of that group" Abbie giggled.
"Kevin, hmm well he is a great guy, he is the oldest and the most serious of the group. I think that if he met the right woman she might be able to get him to loosen up and start enjoying life a bit more" Kevin smiled at Abbie. "I hope you took notes because there will be a test later"
"I am sure by the time I am finished I will know you and the guys better than I know myself" Abbie's mouth formed an expression of surprise when Kevin pulled into the parking lot of Jive Records. "Wow"
Kevin shut off the engine and turned to face Abbie "Are you ready?"
"It's now or never" Abbie unbuckled her seat belt and took Kevin's hand as he helped her out of his jeep. He gave her small hand a reassuring squeeze and held open the door for her as they enetered Jive. Kevin led her into a big meeting room where the band, the guys and management were all waiting for her. She looked around the room, trying to place the names with the faces. her eyes came to rest on a tall blonde man. "Nick" she said to herself as her mind filled with all the information she had on him. She smiled as Kevin made the introductions.
"AJ, Howie, Nick, Brian, Tommy, Dennis, Louis, Guy, Bubba and Mindi. This is Abigail Foster the tour biographer"
"Its actually Abbie and please forgive me if I forget your names as I am a bit overwhelmed" Abbie smiled shyly.
"Welcome to the family Abbie" Howie shook her hand and smiled "I hope the apartment is too your liking, my sister and I picked it out for you."
"Oh yes, Howie..." Abbie's mind searched for information on the dark man "You own your own real estate company. Howie the apartment is beautiful, the view is stunning and the apartment is so bright and airy. Did you decorate it?"
"My mom did" AJ piped up from the back of the room.
"Well tell her that I love it and please let her know how thankful I am, actually I am so thankful to all of you. You made this move so easy for me" Abbie smiled at the group.
"We take care of family and you are now family" Nick walked over to Abbie and offered her his hand "Nice to meet you Abbie, Kevin has been raving about you all week. I'm Nick"
"Nick Carter, favourite colour green, loves dolphins, has a musical note tattoo and is addicted to computer games..did I get it all" Abbie teased as the group stared at her and started to laugh.
"She did her homework on us I see, we better watch out for her" AJ laughed.
Abbie and the guys were laughing and joking when Tim announced that their reservations were for 7 and that they should all head out to the resteraunt.
"I'll take Abbie with me" Kevin smiled.
"Oooooh Kev called dibs on the new girl" Brian joked as he and Nick walked out the door.
Abbie smiled when AJ caught her eye and winked as if to say "You'll be fine
girl."
