I lay in bed, staring at the empty side. In less then 8 hours Keavy would be lying there, by my side, forever. I was nervous and I didn't know what to do. I had repainted the house to make it look more feminine and the furniture had been picked out by my mom. I had been looking at new houses before the trip but I had decided to wait, to let Keavy have a say in the new house. I wondered if Keavy was as nervous as I was, excited as I was. She was on a plane right now heading towards a strange country where she would start her new life. I couldn't imagine what she was thinking, feeling as she kissed her parents goodbye.
All I knew is that I couldn't wait to see her, kiss her and hold her tight. I rolled over in bed and tried to fall asleep, I had a long and busy day ahead of me.

I paced the busy floor of the Orlando International airport. The lillies I held were burning my nostrils with their fragrence, my eyes were trying not to water. I had checked and re checked with the gate attendant and had confirmed that yes the flight from Belfast was in fact arriving on time. I decided to sit down after I narrowly missed plowing over a tiny old woman as I paced. I was fidgeting with my claddaugh ring when I heard the announcement that Keavy's flight had arrived. I ran to her gate and waited, with baited breath to see her immerge from the tunnel.
I caught sight of her red hair and I started to cry. I craned my neck and saw her too craning her neck trying to find me. As if in slow motion her head turned towards mine and our eyes met, our eyes filled with identical tears and we ran towards each other.
"Yank, oh god Yank I love you" Keavy threw herself into my arms and I held her tight.
"I love you too" I kissed her, right in the middle of the terminal I kissed her and as people walked by us,commenting on how wonderful it was to see a couple so much in love, I knew that this was the start of eternity for me.

"It is so strange to see you driving on the other side of the car" Keavy held my hand as I drove. She had been shell shocked when we walked out of the airport, the heat was stifling and the noise and swarms of people had overcome her. She looked tired as we drove, the long plane ride and the excitement and nervousness had finally caught up to her.
"You will get used to it, just promise me that you won't drive with Nick, one ride with him and you will swear off driving forever" I teased and leaned over and kissed her.
"AH Yank...maybe we should wait till we get home, you bout drove off the road" Keavy's emerald eyes sparkled and she winked.

"Alex this is beautiful" I led her into my house, and as we stood in the living room she was trying to let it all sink in. "Jeysus my whole county could fit in yer house"
"Our house" I corrected her, wrapping my arms around her waist and kissing her neck "This is all yours now"
Keavy stared at me and then kissed me "These are the only things of
yours I
want" she smiled and then kissed my chest, where my heart was "And
this is
the only thing I want to own"
