”Every day at lunch I go for a walk in the park that faces my office window, and every day the same couple is sitting on the park bench eating their lunch together. I wonder if they know how lucky they are that they can spend time together. Sometimes it hurts me so much to see them together that I want to run up to them and shake them and tell them to cherish the tiny things and the little periods of time that they make for each other, for some of us are craving what they have. I wish that that man I desire would show up at my office with a lunch he made especially for me, I wish that we could walk hand in hand across the grass and sit on the park bench, and as we eat we can make jokes and comment on how our day is going. People take little things for granted and the little things are what counts the most when you are alone.”
Kevin read the email and smiled, he knew how he was going to make Skylar smile. He picked up the phone and made his plans.

Skylar was at the office when Jana, her new receptionist buzzed that she had a delivery. Skylar asked Jana to bring it in and when Jana handed her the envelope Skylar's face broke out into a huge smile. She saw Kevin's writing and ripped open the envelope anxiously. Skylar burst out laughing when she saw what the envelope contained.
"What is it?" Jana asked. She too started to laugh when she saw the delivery.
"What a fool," Skylar sat down and picked up the phone to call Kevin.
"Let me guess, you got it right?" Kevin's deep voice filled the phone. Kevin had arranged for their tour photographer to take a picture of him sitting on a blanket with a picnic basket and food surrounding him and on the bottom of the picture was written "Now all that is missing is you"
"I love it! You are too much, you know that?" Skylar laughed.
"Well I got your email and I wanted to try to make your wish come true as best as I could."
"Well this will tide me over until you can make me a real picnic lunch," and the two continued talking.

"Pour me a glass of wine..and hurry cuz the guys are almost on," Kim Ann yelled at Skylar from the living room, where the girls were gathered to watch the boys on an hour long special of Rosie. Sklyar lived vicariously through the television appearances that the boys did. Sometimes when she was missing Kevin she would put on one of his appearances and she would fall asleep listening to his voice, it made her feel close to him.
"Here...." Skylar handed the glass to Kim Ann and flopped on her couch. She munched on pretzels and anxiously waited for the program to start. She had spoken to Kevin that morning and he made her promise that she would watch. The opening theme song for the show came on and soon Rosie was talking to the audience about her kids and their holiday. "Dammit Rosie on any other day I would think it was cute that Parker threw up on the boat but not today, now shut your mouth and bring on Howie," Kim Ann muttered.
Sklyar looked at her friend and laughed but she quickly settled down when Rosie started her introduction of the boys. Skylar smiled when she saw Kevin on the television. His soft eyes were still the same ones that she dreamt of looking into, his hair was the same dark hair that she wanted to run her hands through and his lips were still the ones she craved for every night.She immersed herself in their performance and when they were done she clapped, forgetting that she was sitting on her couch and not in the studio audience. As they went to commercial the camera zoomed in the boys and Kevin winked, hoping that Skylar was watching.
"As if he took lessons from Howie and winked..." Kim Ann giggled.
The TIDE commercial ended and the boys, who were sitting around Rosie's desk were talking to her.
"Kevin changed, into a t-shirt, what the...?" Skylar asked and then stopped as the camera zoomed onto him. "Oh my god tell me he didn't wear that shirt," Skyar burst out laughing as a confused Kim Ann stared at her.
"So Kevin, I heard that you were in Colorado a couple of months back?" Rosie asked.
"Um, yes I was, myself and a close friend spent a couple of days there, and that is where I had the snowboarding accident." "Oh I see, I am assuming that is where you got the I GOT KISSED IN COLORADO shirt as well," Rosie was laughing as she pointed to it.
"As if he wore that shirt," Kim Ann said "Oh my God could Howie look anymore doable?"
The interview continued and as the hour wrapped up ,Rosie let the audience ask the boys some questions. A little girl asked the boys who their favourite actor was, another asked what their favourite ice cream was and the last question was if they had girlfriends. All the boys answered and left Kevin for last, Kevin licked his lips before he spoke and Skylar squeezed Kim Ann's hand, unsure of how he was going to answer "Actually Rosie I have met a wonderful woman and we are currently geting to know each other, it is hard because we are on tour but when we get back I think things will start getting serious."
"Well she is a very lucky woman, is this the same woman who Kathie Lee talked about on her program?" Rosie asked.
"Yes"
"Well I wish you all the best. Ladies and Gentlemen the Backstreet Boys
will
be back after this commercial to sing us out."
