If you like, you can take this story at face value. A story about aliens and explosions and the possible end of the world. But that's not what this story is about. This story is about two people who aren't sure how to begin where they left off, and about one woman whose endless faith and strength is finally rewarded. This story is about people and their relationships with other people; about soulmates, and people who aren't meant to be together; about pain, and absolute beauty. This story is about life and the people who live it. It just so happens that a lot of other s#!@ goes down while they're busy living.
You may notice that this story focuses more on non-BSB characters than most other fanfic- at least, the fanfic that I've read. I hope you enjoy these characters as much as I do.
