In the car Howie turned off the music that was blaring and he turned to Allie and smiled " I would rather hear your voice"
Allie blushed " So Howie, how long were Nick and his ex-girlfriend together?'
"Thy were together over 2 years, she was nick's first real love and when she broke up with him he was wrecked, we all tried to to bring him out of his slump, but nobody could, we are all still worried about him, but he will get through it..What's with the interest in Nick's love life?" Howie asked
"Well when we were talking today I could sense how down he really was, he is far too young to be this down on life, my god...I have an idea but I don't know if it will work.." Allie started to tell Howie her plan.

AJ guided Chia out of his house and onto the deck. He made sure the blindfold was secure and then he took her hand in his and walked her down the stairs and onto the beach...
"AJ, what are you doing?" Chia squealed..
"Just wait.." AJ said with a cackle....He led her down the beach and they came to the ocean's edge...Chai jumped when she felt the cold water lap against her feet.
AJ laughed and whispered "Do you trust me?"
"Of course..."
"Then give me your hand and I will help you up." AJ guided her up the stairs and then followed behind her. He led her to the cushions and then helped her to sit down..He gently took off the blindfold and watched her green eyes open wide when she saw where she was.
"Oh AJ it is beutiful..." Chia said breathless.
"It's all for you baby...now tell me where you want to go and we will steer the boat in that direction.."
"I want to go to the edge of the world, where the horizon meets the ocean.." Chia smiled at AJ.
"You got it," AJ winked and ran to tell the captain.
Chia pulled her legs in close and looked around. AJ had arranged to have a huge sailboat take them sailing. The sun was still shining and Chia could not wait until the sun started to set over the ocean...
"Momma you had to have sent AJ to me, he is the man I always dreamt would enter my life and you were the only one aside from me who knew that..Thanks Momma"

Howie and Allie pulled into the parking lot of Wang Thai and Howie opened the door of the car for her. Allie smiled and took Howie's hand. The two walked hand in hand into the resteraunt.
They were seated by the window and off in the corner. The server told them the specials and then left the couple alone to view the menu...
"Wow, this all sounds so good, where do I begin" Allie asked..
"I am a huge fan of the thai noodles and chicken but last time I had the thai soup and beef and it made a huge impression on me.." Howie smiled. He watched as Allie brushed the curl away from her eye and smiled. Howie smiled and went back to the menu.
The server came back and the two ordered.
" I will have the noodles and chicken please..I hear it is very good" Allie winked at Howie.
" 2 please and a bottle of roset please"
" This reminds me so much of my father, he and I used to have a longstanding date, once a month we would cancel all of our plans and we would chose a new resteraunt to eat at, we actually drove to Jacksonville for dinner at this new Lebanese Resteraunt..." Allie's eyes started to well with tears..
Howie reached across the table and placed her hand in his and squeezed...
Allie continued " My dad and I always had fun together, Chia and mom were close but dad and I were 2 of a kind, he could just wink at me and all my troubles were gone, oh Howie you would have loved him, he was the most caring man, I remember when Chia got to go to Girl Scout camp and I couldn't because I was sick, dad brought the tent into the living room, brought in a cot and set me right up in the living room, mom got mad because he had the fireplace on in August but he said we needed fore if we were going to roast marshmellows....God how am I ever going to get through things without him to guide me.."
"Allie, your dad is watching down on you, whenever the sun shines, whenever a bird chirps that is your dad telling you he is here..." Howie moved his chair closer and smoothed her hair and wiped away the tears.
"God I never thought I would be without him at 23 years of age, he was my big strong daddy,"
Howie pulled her close and held her as she cried. When their meals arrived he smiled at the server, he kissed the tears that were falling down Allie's face and said "Our meals are here, let's eat them and then you can tell your dad how good they were, I am sure he is licking his lips and wishing he could taste it..." Howie smiled at Allie "you know he would be mad if you didn't eat it while it was still hot."
Allie smiled and took a bite of her food "I wish you were here Daddy, this
is fantastic" Allie said under her breath.
