"Allie, line 1 is for you"
"Thanks Janet, Allie Dawson speaking"
"Hi Allie cat"
"Lexi, how are you, how is the tour going?"
"Great, Nick and the guys say hi, and well Howie will talk to you in a minute, Allie I miss you like crazy but I am so happy that things are going well back home."
"Our new clients are keeping us busy, and I go to trial next week for the Smith case" Allie said in referance to the murder case which had captured headlines. It appeared that a well-known socialite had killed her husband and his pregnant mistress, who was only 17.
"I know Howie is boasting to everyone that his girlfriend is THE lawyer on the Smith case." Lex laughed.
"So I heard that last night's show was eventful." Allie grinned into the phone. "Well you could say that, Howie was flying and he sorta lost his pants in midair." Lexi and Allie were laughing so hard they could hardly breathe.
Allie's other line beeped "Lex I gotta run, give my love to everyone and I will talk to you soon. I love you lots"
"Me too Allie Cat"
"Allie Dawson"
"Hi sweet pea"
"Pooh Bear" Allie squealed, using her pet name for Howie.
"I knew you and Lex would be on forever if I didn't break it up" Howie chuckled "So are you swamped?"
"I don't think I will be leaving the office anytime soon, with the case going to trial I am keeping everyone around here hopping. So I heard you got a lot of exposure last night."
"Damn that Lexi.." Howie blushed.
"Actually AJ called Chia and then she called me to tell me that my man's butt was going to be plastered all over the internet, and what a gorgeaus butt it is."
"Awww, now how would you know?" Howie and Allie had decided to pursue their relationship but were taking things extremly slow. The night before Howie left on tour he picked up Allie and took her to his piece of land and the the two lay in each other's arms in the sand, and fell asleep holding one another. The goodbye at the airport had been tough but they were making it work, they both wanted to wait and see if their relationship could last the touring before they decided to take it to a higher level.
"Well pooh I have got to get back to work, I have a witness coming in for coaching in about 20 minutes. I miss you like crazy and please don't show your butt anymore, my goodness if you keep this up there won't be anything else to surprise me with."
"Baby I am always going to be able to surprise you." Howie joked..."Well don't work too hard and you know.." Allie cut off Howie's sentance.
"I know Howie, I know" Allie had not let Howie say love to her yet. She was scared that if she said she loved him she would lose him...She smiled at the wildflowers Howie had sent her that morning and went back to work.

"Dammit Morgan you screwed up the trading, I am not your mother now move your ass and fix it." Chia screamed at the blonde in front of her. She hated screaming at other employees (most of who were much older than her) but if they screwed up it looked like she screwed up and she could not risk it.
Chia walked into her office and fell back into the huge leather swivel chair and closed her eyes. Her head always seemed to be pounding, she had been in London 2 months and she had been so busy with work she had not gone shopping or siteseeing, she sometimes questioned whether or not her job was worth all the hassle but she knew the answer. How many other people could say they worked for the top brokerage in the country and was the head of a major international department at the age of 23. She missed her house on the beach, and the smell of the ocean, it seemed that here it smelled like fish and chips and stale malt all the time, she missed her friends, but most of all she missed her sister and of course AJ. Her sister was making a name for herself back home as the lead prosecutor of the Smith case, Lexi was off touring with the boys. She talked to them both daily and it had been arranged that when the boys performed in London next month that Allie would be flying down to spend some time with her and Howie. Chia looked at the picture of she and AJ lying on the picnic table with their sunglasses on. Allie had snapped that picture about an hour before she had boarded the plane to London. She and AJ ahad snuck away to spend some last minute time with each other and as they lay on the picnic table talking and looking up at the sun, Allie had snuck up and taken the picture. It now sat on Chia's desk along with the picture of Lex, Allie and Howie and she and AJ at their graduation. Chia and Allie were still in their cap and gowns when Kevin had snapped the picture.
"Chia....Chia...the Corel people are here to see you." Samantha interrupted Chia's thoughts.
"Thanks Sammi.. Chia ran her fingers through her hair to comb out the
knots,
straightened her jacket and walked out to greet her investors.
