Chia looked at her watch and saw she was running late "dammit AJ is going to kill me" she picked up her phone and dialed AJ's cell..."Shit no answer" she was about to call Allie's when Sammi walked in carrying a huge dress box. "This was just delivered for you"
Chia ran and opened the box and gasped when she saw the dress inside it. The dress was long and fitted, it was a mixture of blues and there was a blue shrug to go with it. There was a note with the dress
"Chia,
I will meet you at the show, we go on at 8, here is your ticket and the limo will pick you up at 7:30, look beautiful for me."
AJ
"What a romantic" Sammi squealed
Chia smiled and went to fax off the new contract.

The limo arrived at Chia's flat and Howie called up to let Lex and Allie know they were there. Allie put the last flower in her hair and they ran out the door.
Howie was standing at the limo's door holding it open for her and he smiled when he saw her. She had her hair all up with tiny flowers scattered throughout her hair, she had on a fitted dark purple short dress on and a dark purple shrug.
"Baby you look wonderful, I am going to have the most beautiful woman on my arm tonight." Howie kissed Allie and helped her into the car.
Nick smiled at Lexi who was dressed in a tight black dress but his attention was on Allie. "God she is the most gorgeaus woman..." Nick snuck glances at Allie on the way to the awards.
When they got ready to walk down the carpet Kevin and his date led, followed by Nick and Lexi, Brian and Leighanne and a single AJ. Howie squeezed Allie's hand "Are you ready for our first official public function as a couple?"
Allie smiled "As ready as I will ever be" The couple walked hand in hand down the carpet amid the flashes and lights of the tv cameras. Jan Carle from ET called them over.. "Hi you two, there have been rumors that you two are a couple, are you?"
Howie smiled at Allie "Yes we are definitely together, this is our first public event and we are having a great time."
Jan smiled at them and went on to ask AJ where his date was. "Well she is caught up at work but she will be here later" AJ looked into the camera and smiled. "AJ is it true that you and Howie are dating twin sisters?"
"Yes we are, we met them in Orlando and we have been together since."

Allie and Howie were settling into the seats when Allie saw Drew and Jeff behind them. She smiled and waved at them. Howie, who was busy talking to AJ had missed it, though Nick had not.

Chia was just entering the theatre when Geri Hallawell, the host for the awards show started her monologue. She slipped into the aisle where the group was sitting and waited for the commercial break. She slipped in beside and AJ kissed him.."Hi Baby, sorry I am late"
"At least you are here, oh monkey you look beautiful." AJ kissed his girlfriend and smiled at Howie. Now he could start relaxing and having fun.

The boys performance was very well received, although it had a harder edge than most fans and critics were used to. The boys were dressed in leather and AJ had taken Chia's bet and worn her leather halter top, something the critics would later criticize him for.
The Foreign group of the year category was announced. When the boys names were announced Howie grabbed Allie's hand and squeezed tightly, Chia was running her hand up and down AJ's leg to clam him down.
And the winner is " Backstreet Boys" Mel C announced.
Howie jumped up and kissed Allie "This is for you baby" , AJ kissed Chia and said "You are my magic and you made this happen" as the boys made their way up to the stage Nick stopped and hugged Allie tight "Thanks Red" and Allie kissed his cheek and whispered back "Nicky you deserve it"
Kevin started off by thanking the fans, Brian thanked the lord, Nick said thanks, AJ pointed at Chia and said "Monkey you put the music in my heart and the happiness in my soul, I love you.
Howie thanked his family for standing by him, dedicated the award to his sister Caroline and then as the boys were exiting the stage, leaned into the microphone and said "Sweet Pea I love you"
Allie and Chia looked at each other and winked.
