Chia hugged her sister as soon as they entered the washroom...
"What was that for?" Allie asked
"Thank you for meeting Howie, thank you for agreeing to come to the party.." Chia was smiling
"I take it you and AJ Are getting along great?" Allie teased.
"AL he is wonderful, wow he blows my mind.."
"Calm down Chia, you have only known him for a couple of hours.." Allie scolded her sister, Allie was the serious one, who more often than not had to act as her sister's concience.. "You are such a worry wart, god, live a little." Chia was always looking for new ways to loosen her sister up..She felt that Allie took life far to seriously and wished she would come down a peg..
"I have to be the mature and responsible one for the both of us, " Allie said and turned to the mirror to touch up her lip gloss.
"I know and I respect that, but I just wish sometimes you would act reckless...."
"Chia I live vicariously through you, trust me..." Allie grinned and walked out of the washroom.

Allie walked over to where Howie stood talking to 2 men and excused herself..She took Howie's arm and walked away from the crowd.
"Howie, I am really tired and I am going to head home..Can you make sure that Chia gets home alright, I know she has been drinking and so has AJ and I don't want them driving.."
"Of course, but can't you stay a bit longer?" Howie did not want the night to end..
"I wish I could but I am beat, I have to take Max to get groomed, I have to go to kick boxing and then I have to go do some research at the library..." Allie groaned..
"Wow busy girl, when do you have time to eat?"
"Actually since the accident I have not had much of an appetite, which would explain why all my clothes are falling off me..." Allie teased.
Howie smiled shyly, he had noticed how thin she was but he also could picture her lean body underneath the dress..."Well could I call you tomorrow after my rehearsal?" Howie asked
Allie broke into a big smile and replied "OF course you can, " she scribbled her number on Howie's hand. "This is my cell number, since I am going to be on the go all day it will be easier to reach me on that. Thank you for getting me out of the house, and reminding what laughter feels and sounds like." Allie kissed Howie's cheek and went to say goodbye to Chia.
Howie watched her walk away and smiled..."God she is sweet...I cannot wait to get to know her better." He walked towards his friend Ricky and Elisa..

AJ and Chia were wrapped tightly in each other's arms swaying to I DO...
"Sorry to interrupt, Chia I am heading home...are you staying?" Allie tapped on her sister's shoulder and waited for a reply.
"IF Chia wants I can get her home, when she is ready.." AJ replied.
Allie looked at her sister "What do you want to do?"
"I want to stay for a bit longer.."
"Alright but I do not want you or AJ behind the wheel of a car tonight...get it?"
"GOT IT" Chia replied
"Good" Allie said smiling as she said her dad's favourite
phrase..."Have fun
and see you at home." Allie kissed her sister , waved to Howie who was
watching her as he talked to friends and walked to her car and drove
away.
