Skylar crept into Hannah's room and sat cross legged on her bedroom floor. She was still dressed in her evening clothes and she was clutching the now tear stained and tattered note to her chest. "It was all so easy when it was just you Hannah, your father and I were so much in love with you and the idea of being parents. We used to lie awake dreaming of what you would look like, your father used to swear that you would have my eyes and he prayed that you had my smile. I was so afriad when I found out I was pregnant, your father and I were touring and I was scared that he would leave me when I told him. I remeber the look of pure excitement when he found me in the washroom, how he held me close and talked a mile a minute about how excited he was that he was going to be a daddy." Skylar stared at the way the light from the stars fell on her sleeping daughter's face. The way it shone on her curls. "Hannah everything was so easy back then..I wish I knew how to get that happiness back." Skylar fell asleep on her daughter's floor.

"Momma...momma..daddy is on the phone" Alex's chubby hands poked at his sleeping mother "Momma..." Alex kissed his mother's cheek and giggled when she opened her eyes.
"Morning little man" Kim Ann tried to focus on where she was, and then she remebered the long talk she had with Molly, the midnight memory session and falling asleep on the couch. "What are you doing up Magoo?" she scooped her son up onto her stomach.
"Daddy is on the phone" Alex handed his mother the phone and ran off "I am going to wake up MnM and watch cartoons" AJ screamed, using his sister's nickname as he ran up to her room.
"Morning baby" she said, still half asleep
"Rough night sweet pea?"
"I just had a lot of thinking to do that's all"
"Anything you want to tell me about?"
"No, nothing to worry you about..do you know how much I love hearing your voice first thing in the morning?" Kim Ann cooed to her boyfriend.
"Not as much I would love to wake up with you in my arms"
"Nicky hold on Miss Mew is up and she wants to talk to you, in case she
hangs up I love you" KIm Ann handed her daughter the phone and smiled as she
started to talk a mile a minute to her dad. Kim Ann walked into the kitchen
to make the twins breakfast. She was straining to listen to her daughter's
conversation when she heard the cutest giggles she had ever heard and she
ran into the living room to see Molly and AJ huddled around the phone
listening to their father. Kim Ann walked over to where they were crouched
and sat down beside them, drinking in the beauty of the scene. They were the
most incredible creatures that God had ever created and all Kim Ann wanted
to do was scoop them up and hug them forever. She got caught up in the
moment and picked up the other extension and without missing a beat, or
stopping to think what she was saying she blurted into the phone "Nicky I
want another child"
