Kim Ann stared down at the ring that now decorated her finger. She looked over at her sleeping fiancee, his blonde hair seemed to glow in the darkness and he held her hands close to his chest as he slept. She wiggled free of his grasp and ran her finger over his lips. The pilot announced that they would be making their descent into Germany and he asked everyone to buckle up. Kim Ann fiddled with the belt and strapped Nick into his chair and then looked around the quiet cabin. They had partied well into the early morning and now everyone was sound asleep. Through out the entire party Nick had kept asking her if she was happy. She finally gave up trying to verbally communicate that she was happy and led him into an empty room and showed him how happy she was. She caught Howie's eye and he smiled at her and winked. She settled back into the seat and waited for the plane to touch down.

"Momma...daddy we are hungry, can you get up now...PLEASE" Nick groaned and opened his eyes. His two children were standing beside the bed with pleading expressions on their face. "Hey rugrats, how about you crawl into bed and sleep with us for a bit. Momma and daddy were up really late and we need our sleep" Nick pulled his children into bed and hugged them close to him.
"Daddy did Momma like your present?" Molly asked.
Nick kissed the top of his daughter's head and whispered "She liked it very much pumpkin"

Howie let the warm water stream onto his face and his body. He hadn't been able to sleep after getting back from the party so he had laid awake for a couple of hours watching his wife sleep and then finally gave up and climbed into the shower. His mind played back the conversation at the bistro and he had not been able to shake it. He was nervous about his wife's confession and he wished that he could assure her that it was a silly fear, that they would have a beautiful baby with big brown eyes and curly hair, but he could not. He knew how much of a strain infertility could be on a relationship and he was scared that their love might not be enough to get them through it. He saw the outline of his wife's body on the other side of the curtain and he waited for her to join him. He greeted her with a kiss and held her close as the water beat down on them.

"Baby I don't want to leave either but Zach's ear infection is really bad and your mom says that he has bene crying all night for me" Skylar looked up from her packing at her husband "Kevin trust me when I say I am renewed. I fell in love all over again with you and I cannot wait for you to get home" Skylar wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down to meet her lips.

"Morning Future Mrs Carter" Nick kissed Kim Ann's lips and smiled as she opened her eyes to lock with his.
"That's Hearty-Carter to you"
"Are you serious, baby don't go all women's lib on me." Nick pouted.
Kim Ann propped her head up on one hand and grinned as Nick pouted. "Do you know how irrisistable you are when you pout?"
"How irrisitible am I?" Nick's eyes lit up with mischief.
Kim Ann pulled Nick down onto her and kissed him hard. "That irristible" Kim Ann rested her forehead on Nick's chin "Have you told the twins about us getting married?"
"I thought that we might want to tell them together" Nick walked out of the room and returned with the twins under each arm.
"Momma, you are awake" Molly climbed into bed and lay on her mother's lap.
"Morning pook, morning buddy" She kissed them both and then waited for Nick to climb into bed beside her. "Daddy and I have something to tell you"
"Are you giving me a brother?" Alex asked excitedly.
Kim Ann and Nick smiled at each other "maybe soon, but not right now. You know that momma and daddy love each other very much right? And you know that when two people love each other that usually to show how much they love each other they get married? Well we are getting married"
"Can I be your flower girl momma, and wear a white dress and throw flowers?"
"Of course baby, I wouldn't have anybody but you"
Nick looked at his son who was sitting dejectedly on the side of the bed. Nick picked him up and put his on his lap "What's the matter little man?"
"I wanted a baby brother"
Nick tried not to laugh as his son pouted. "AJ we will have another baby but right now your momma and I are going to need your help to plan our wedding, we are finally going to be a family and we want you to help"

Skylar immerged from the terminal and started to walk towards the luggage carousel when she saw the man whom she had been hiding from while on her trip. She fixed her suit and ran into his arms.
"I have missed you Sky" and the man brushed his lips against hers.
