"Call me later Spence, thank you for picking me up at the airport" Skylar kissed the man tenderly and then broke apart when she saw her neighbor walking his dog towards the car. "shit, pop the trunk, quick" Skylar climbed out the car and ran around to the back of the car to get her luggage. "Hi Dave, Hi peaches" Skylar bent down to pet the tiny dog and reached for her luggage.
"How was your trip, how's Kevin?" Dave asked the flustered woman.
"It was wonderful, I had to cut it short though because Zachary has an earache and wants his mommy. Tell Catherine I will be over later to tell her about my trip but right now I really have to go and check in on Zach" Skylar winked at the man who was staring at her in the reaview mirror and thumped the truck to tell him that it was okay to go. She struggled up the steep stairs that Kevin had insisted on installing when they had designed the house and which were a constant source of irritation to her.
"Welcome home Sky, I know one little boy that is going to be very happy to see his mommy" Ann hugged Skylar tight and helped her with her luggage. "My son has already called three times to make sure you got in alright. He is such a worrywart when it comes to you and the children"
"How is my little sick one?" Sky said as she walked upstairs towards Zach's room. "What a little angel, he's sound asleep" Skylar kissed her son's forehead and tucked the covers around him "Mommy is home and ready to take care of you"

"Howie it really was special wasn't it? I mean I don't think I have ever seen such an extravagant proposal." Jessi and Howie were working out at the gym when their conversation turned to Kim Ann's surprise party.
"He really surprised me, I mean this coming from a man who still gets his mother to buy everyone's christmas presents for him. I honestly thought that we were going to show up and he would have a barrel of chicken on a table with paper plates." Howie laughed "Something happened to the little boy we once knew"
"I can tell you what happened to him, he became a father" Jessi looked tenderly at her husband "You will change too baby, once you hold that little baby in your arms and it hits you that you helped to create it, everything will change for you and I"
Howie climbed off the stepper and hugged his sweaty wife "I cannot wait for our lives to change, it can't happen soon enough"

"So how is he? Did you take him to the doctor?" Kevin asked his wife.
"He is sleeping, your mom took him to the emergency last night and they told her that it was an ear ache, she gave him his ear drops and he is out of it. Baby hold on there is someone on the other line" Skylar hit the link button "Hello"
"Hi sexy. How are things over there at the Romper Room Richardson Residence?"
"Actually the kids are all at school, Zach is sleeping and my mother in law just left, so things are wonderfully quiet here, there is someone on the other line, hold on" Skylar switched lines "Baby it is Hannah's school can I call you back?"
"I love you Skylar, give the kids a kiss for me okay" "Hi Spence, sorry about that, where were we?"
"Well how about you get a babysitter and you and I can go out tonight" Spence suggested.
"Hun I just got home, I can't very well take off and go out, besides I thought I told you that we were going to have to slow things down and cool off for a while, I need to think about what I am going to do"
"What's there to decide, you married a man you thought you loved and now you realised that you don't love him the way he needs to be loved, you have met a man who fills you with excitement and makes you come alive. You need to be honest with yourself and with him."
"I told you that I need time to think, please give me that, if you love me
you will give me time" Skylar was trembling as she hung up the phone. She
thought about the way she felt when Spence kissed her, her lips turned to
flames and her spine tingled. His arms seemed to engulf her body and protect
her from harm and his laughter made her feel 16 again. She turned to look at
the picture of the man whom had once made her believe that true love existed
and with whom she had created 6 miracles. The she cried.
