Kim Ann walked into the house and threw her purse on the couch and rubbed her neck as she walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bottled water out of the fridge. The scene in the resteraunt was not at all something she would want to relive again. After Howie and Jessi's confirmation that in fact they wanted Kim Ann to be the surrogate Nick had grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the booth and dragged her through the resteraunt. She was actually surprised that she had made home alive, considering that Nick had been speeding and almost caused an accident twice. They had not spoken one word since leaving the resteraunt. She heard Nick stomp up the stairs and slam the bedroom door.
"Nicky, honey?" Kim Ann tapped on the door and walked into the bedroom, where her boyfriend was tearing off his clothes and swearing."Baby we need to talk about this" She touched his bare back and was taken aback when he pushed her onto the bed and climbed onto her. "Nick what are you doing?" She asked scared.
"You and I..tonight...we are fucking..you and I are going to make another baby so that that sick fuck will leave us alone..what the fuck was he thinking?" Nick kissed her roughly and tore at her clothes.
"Baby you are scaring me..come on sweetheart let me up" Kim Ann tried to calm Nick down but felt the tears well in her eyes as he entered her roughly. He was a man possesed and no amount of talking could rid him of the desire to make his girlfriend pregnant. Kim Ann bit her lip and prayed for it to be over quickly. She felt Nick tense and then fall onto her heavily. She pushed him off as she cried and ran into the bathroom crying. She grabbed her bathrobe and tied it around her tightly and ran out of the room crying.
"Sweet pea, Oh my god Kymmi I am sorry, BABY" Nick ran out into the laneway naked and crying as he screamed and chased after his girlfriend as she screeched out of their laneway.
"WHAT THE FUCK HAVE YOU DONE CARTER" Nick cried and ran back into the house.

Kim Ann was hysterical as she called Nik "Nikola it's Kim Ann, I need you to take the kids to Jane's, don't ask just promise me you will do it. I am fine, JUST DO IT GODDAMMIT" Kim Ann slammed down the phone and called Jane.

"Where the fuck did she go?" Nick called Howie and Jessi but he knew that they were gone to supper at Howie's parents. He decided to take his chance and drive to Denise. Kim Ann always went there when she needed to talk.

Kevin was just getting out of the shower when he heard pounding at his door. "What the?" He ran downstairs and was shocked when he saw Kim Ann leaning up against the door, wearing only her robe, which had slipped, showing off her naked body underneath. "Red, what is wrong, come in" Kevin gathered her into his arms and helped her walk into the living room. "Honey what is wrong?" Kevin smoothed her damp hair away from her face and stared into her eyes. "Kymmi what is it? You need to tell me" Kim Ann started to cry hysterically and Kevin held her tight, kissing her hair and rocking her. "What the hell has happened to her?" He asked himself.

"Nick you need to tell me what is wrong baby boy" Denise held Nick tight as he sobbed. He had barged into her house and fell into her arms.
"I....oh my god....I lost....Denise....she won't ever....forgive me.....I .......oh my god......I was an animal" and then he started talking in hysterics.
"My precious angel what have you done?" Denise asked.

Kevin held Kim Ann in his arms until her eyes would shed no more tears. "are you feeling better?" He whispered and kissed her forhead. The red, aching eyes staring back at him were not the beautiful green eyes that always sparkled and were always so full of life. "Kim Ann you need to tell me what happened." Kevin cupped her face in his hands and forced her to look at him. "We are family, you can tell me anything." Kim Ann broke into tears and started to tell him about the night's events."

"HE DID WHAT?" KEVIN broke the embrace that he was sharing and stood up. "HE RAPED YOU?"
"Kev it isn't rape, we are a couple..my god he just scared me, he wasn't the same loving and tender man he always is when we are together. He was an animal. I swear every thrust felt like a knife cutting into me. He was possesed..he wants a baby so bad, he wants to make Howie's once chance at happiness impossible. What kind of man does that to his best friend?"
"Stay here..I have an overwhelming desire to pound the shit out of a little prick"
"Kevin...no..please....stay with me..hold me..please.." Kim Ann pawed at Kevin and pulled him down onto the couch with her. "Please don't leave me."
"I won't, I promise I won't" Kevin wrapped her in his arms and held her until she fell asleep.

"NICK...OH MY GOD...YOU DIDN'T" Denise grabbed Nick's face and stared at him. "Are you insane..what the hell came over you?"
"Denise I was so upset about Howie and Jessi, losing the baby, the break up..it all hit me at once and all I wanted was to make it all go away. If we had another baby Howie could not convince Kim Ann to be a surrogate, we could be a family and we could be happy again. It all makes sense Denise"
"Nick you are talking garbage, you need to get your head straight..MY GOD you raped your girlfriend..what kind of animal does that?" Denise looked at Nick with pity "You are not the man I thought you were, you need to go home and get that head screwed on tight baby boy or you are going to lose the one thing that ever mattered to you, the one thing that has been your rock and your constant. You love your children so much, well remember that without Kim Ann they wouldn't be here..JEsus Nick what you did tonight was gutless" Denise walked out of the room shaking her head.
Nick fell to the floor in a heap and cried.

Denise covered Nick with a blanket and kissed his damp and pale face. "Sleep tight baby boy, you have a hard road ahead of you" "Alex if they ever needed you it is now..Baby they need your strength" Denise said a prayer and sat in the chair watching her surrogate son sleep.

Kevin watched Kim Ann's chest rise and fall with each breath she took. Her
right hand held onto his and her left one was on his bare chest. She had
been easing her way closer to him in her sleep and it stirred up something
in Kevin. Something he had not felt in a long time. His eyes fell to the
open robe. Kim Ann had been so upset that she had let her robe fall open and
now as she slept Kevin got a very advantagous point to view her body. Her
breasts were ample, her stomach was round and soft, not hard and toned but
Kevin loved women's curves. Her legs were toned and tanned and her short
hair framed her face, making her eyes look like cat's eyes. She was a cute
woman, not classicly beautiful but fun loving and cute. He ran his hand up
her thigh and let it rest on her soft stomach. His other hand rested in her
hair and he fell asleep, holding his best friend's girlfriend in his arms
and enjoying every breath that they took toegether.
