Skylar was out in the backyard watching the kids play when Kevin walked out. "Morning baby" he kissed her cheek and smiled, hoping to get a response out of her.
"Morning" Skylar looked away "Hannah, Aiden it is almost time to get ready for the bus"
"Okay mom" Hannah took her brother's hand and they ran into the bathroom to wash up.
"Sky I have to run to the office, we are going to look over the shots for the new poster line. I should be home around 2. Is there anything that you need me to pick up on my way home?" "How about a new body" Skylar mumbled as she rubbed her stomach. Kevin placed his hands on her stomach and smiled "You always get so upset about gaining so much weight but you know I love you like this" Kevin replied, kissing her cheek.
"I know you do, guess that's why for the past 7 years not 4 months has gone by when I haven't been pregnant" Skylar looked up into her husband's big brown eyes and smiled. "Kev I am sorry I am so moody, it's just sometimes I can't bear the kids, I can't handle you being away, and there are days where I miss AJ and Molly so bad it hurts" Skylar buried her face in her husband's chest.
Kevin's eyes filled with tears as he heard his wife mention one of his best friends "I know baby, but we will get through this, we have this far" Keivn held her tight, thankful that she was finally showing some affection and feelings.

Kim Ann opened her eyes and as her eyes adjusted she saw the neon numbers staring her in the face "SHIT...SHIT" she jumped out of bed and stubbed her toe on the armoire as she ran. "Dammit I am so late for work" she started the shower and tried to tear through her closet for her clothes. "Dammit my blue suit is at the cleaners" she mumbled.
"Sweet Pea?" the voice broke her frenzied pace. Kim Ann whipped around "Nick why didn't you wake me, I am so damn late" Kim Ann whined.
"Your boss called, the meeting is cancelled. He said to take the day off and enjoy your weekend" Nick's face broke into an evil grin as he stared at his harried girfriend. "I put the kids on the bus, Aiden and Hannah send you hugs and Skylar said she will call you later" Nick cupped her face in his hands "I have to run into the office but I told the guys that it had to be a fast meeting because it isn't everyday that my woman and I are home alone for the entire day." Nick grinned "Go back to sleep and I will wake you when I get home" Nick kissed her lips and walked out of the room "Get some sleep baby because you and I have last night to make up for"
Kim Ann laughed and crawled back into bed.

"Bone I just don't understand. I understood when she told me she wanted to
spend a couple of years alone with me, settling in to our married life, I
understood when she said that we both needed to concentrate on our careers
but we have been married almost five years and the time is right. I want
to start a family with her. I love her with all my heart but the time has
come for us to move on to the next step. I don't know if she is
frightened, or if she lied when she told me that she really did want kids.
I have seen how happy Kevin, Nick and Brian are and I want that too" Howie
was crouched in front of AJ's grave talking to him. Howie knew that his
best friend could hear everything that was being said and sometimes he
could feel AJ guiding him to make the right decision. Not a week went by
that Howie didn't visit AJ's and Molly's grave and fill them in on what
was going on with their friends' lives. Howie smiled when he saw the
pictures that Nick and Kymmi's kids had drawn for AJ and Molly. "I hope
that those two beautiful children know how important and incredible the
people that they are named after are..I have to be at the office in 10
minutes so I have to get going. I love you both and miss you more every
day. Take care of each other" Howie kissed their tombstones and walked
away, wiping the tears from his eyes.
