"Kim Ann you have to breathe through it, come on you can do it?" Howie and Jessi were holding her hands as the doctor put the epidural in her back.
"It hurts, oh my god it hurts so much" Kim Ann sobbed. It was 4 hours into labour and things were not progressing well. The doctor had put her and the baby on fetal monitors and the heart beat was elevated. They were discussing an emergency c-section. "Howie please tell me the baby is going to be alright, please Howie" Kim Ann was trying to catch her breath as she clawed at Howie for reassurance.
"It's going to be alright" Howie wiped her forehead with a damp towel as Jessi massaged her shoulders.

Kevin, Denise, and Howie and Jessi's parents paced the floor, waiting for news on Kim Ann and the baby's conditions. "God why hasn't Howie told us, why hasn't he come out to tell us?" Kevin said worried.
"Sweets it will be alright. Kim Ann has done this before and the doctor is one of the best." Denise reached for Kevin's hand. "You two have just found each other, noone is going to take her away yet"

"Okay Kim Ann we are going to wheel you down to prep you for the cesarian" The doctor walked Kim Ann, Howie and Jessi what was going to be happening.
"Which one of you will be in the room with her?"
"They both will, this is their baby not mine."Kim Ann panted, trying to get through the contraction.
"Please follow Mary and she will get you prepped, we will come and get you when Kim Ann is ready" The orderlies wheeled Kim Ann out of the room, past Kevin and Denise.
"Kim Ann" Kevin ran towards the stretcher "Kim Ann I love you, I am so proud of you" Kevin stoked her face as he ran to keep up with her " I will be waiting for you when you get out" Kevin kissed her and watched as she disappeared through the doors.

Kim Ann stared at Howie and Jessi, who were crying. The doctor was just about to deliver the baby that they had been dreaming about for 5 years. The three joined hands and watched on the mirror above Kim Ann.
"You have a beautiful baby, what a looker" The doctor said as he took the baby from Kim Ann's womb. "She is beautiful"
"SHE...Oh my god we have a little girl" Howie and Jessi embraced, kissing through their tears. They turned their attention to Kim Ann who was watching them with tears in her eyes. "Thank you, thank you for making this a reality" They kissed her and waited for their daughter to be cleaned up. As the nurse placed the beautiful little girl in Howie's arms he cried. He finally had the daughter he had waited so long for.

"It's a girl, it's a beautiful baby girl" Howie and Jessi walked into the waiting room and made their announcement through cheers, tears and lots of hugs.
"Congratulations D" Kevin hugged his friend tight "How is Kim Ann"
"She is fine,. She is in recovery and she is asking for you" Howie excused himself and walked over to embrace his brother.
Kevin walked away from the crowd. He walked down the hall to the chapel and knelt down.
"You have blessed us all in so many ways. You blessed me with 6 beautiful and healthy children and a wonderful and supportive family.
Howie and Jessi finally have their own family and are happier then I have ever seen them.
Brian and Leighanne are wonderful and Denise is my angel on earth. She has been the strong constant in all of our lives. Instead of falling apart when AJ and Molly died she threw all of herself into watching out for us. I would have fallen apart had it not been for her.
Most people are blessed with only one chance at true love. For some reason you have found it fit to bless me with two. You brought me Skylar who taught me that dreams come true, she blessed me with my children and she led me to my heart's desire, she brought me to Kim Ann.
Please watch out for me and give me the patience and strength to fight for this chance at love. You have filled my life with so many beautiful things, would it be too much to ask to bless me with the most beautiful of them all?"

Nick walked down the hallway with the twins, who were holding flowers and a teddy bear for their new "cousin".
"Nick, what are you doing here?" Pollyanna asked surprised.
"We have a new member of the Backstreet Family and I am here to welcome her"
"Polly it's okay" Howie smiled at his sister and hugged his friend "Thanks
for coming, this is a time of celebration and happiness and I will put up
with you for today but if you say anything to make Kim Ann upset I will not
hesitate to punch the shit out of you and call you the stuffed pinata" Howie
warned Nick "Come on, let's go see my daughter"
