"Nicky this place is beautiful, I would never have expected you to have such a stunning house, I mean, well, never mind" Kim Ann blushed.
Nick grinned as he showed her around his house " I know you were expecting some messy house filled with nintendos and comic books"
"And dirty pin ups" Kim Ann muttered.
"I may be messy on the road but when I am at home I take pride in my house and keep it clean. Here is your bedroom." Nick opened the door to show her a huge bedroom, decorated in light pine furniture and soft tones of yellow and blue. "My mom decorated this room"
"It is beautiful, this bed is huge" Kim Ann flopped down on the bed and strecthed out "This is heaven." she patted the bed and smiled "Hop in young fellow, we can catch up while I relax"
Nick climbed onto the bed and laid down beside her. "she smells so good" he thought to himself as she started to ask about Molly.
"Her chemo is making her really sick and she is so thin, but her spirits are high and she is trying to keep busy. AJ is wonderful to her and I swear that the only reason she has not given up is because of how much AJ loves her" Nick smiled as Kim Ann turned on the bed and rested her head on Nick's shoulder, the two of them stared up at the ceiling as they spoke.
"Sky says that AJ is incredible, he drives her to and from the appointments, cooks, cleans and does the housework. She is so lucky to have someone that special in her life, so speaking of the wonderful and happy couple what time are we heading over there?"
"We are supposed to go over to Kev and Skylar's and then we will all leave from there. Do you want to rest or would you like to go now?"
"Let's head over now and on the way you can tell me all about this mystery woman that Sky says you have been hanging out with"
"Do I detect a hint of jelousy?" Nick teased as he helped Kim Ann off the bed.
"Don't flatter yourself Nicky, you are just a little boy" she ruffled his hair and walked out of the room.
"You won't be thinking that way for very long" Nick thought to himself with a grin.

"Nik is just a friend, she and I met on the plane and now we just hang out." Nick was filling in Kymmi about Nik.
"I can't wait to meet her, she sounds like fun"
Nick thought about the conversation that he and Aaron had after the breakfast with Nik. Aaron had insisted that he had met Nik before and he also kept saying how much she looked like their father. Nick had yelled at him and told him that it was ridiculous, that there was no way she could be related to them and that if he mentioned her to anyone that Nick would kick his butt. "She looks so much like dad I cannot even believe it. Her smile and the her laugh are identical to his" Nick thought as he pulled into Kevin's driveway. He ran around to the other side of the truck and opened the door for Kim Ann.
" Who are you, holy shit what have you done with Nick?" Kim Ann teased as Nick laughed.
"KYMMI!" Skylar ran out of the house and hugged her best friend tightly. "I am so glad you are finally here" The 2 women walked into the house, leaving Nick and Kevin to follow behind them.

"That was Kymmi and the gang, they are on their way over" AJ walked into the kitchen and helped Molly set the table. "Baby I don;t want you to think I was snooping but I saw your agenda on the phone table and something caught my eye"
"What was that Alex?" Molly asked absent mindedly as she folded the linen napkins and placed them beside the plates.
"Do you have a hair appointment tomorrow?" AJ asked softly.
Molly put down the remaining napkins and looked at AJ "yes, I am going to shave my head tomorrow, it will be easier and less emotional for me then waking up every morning with a handful of hair on my pillow" Molly's green eyes clouded with tears.
"Well I was thinking something baby, I know how hard this is going to be on you, and I know how proud of your beautiful hair you are, well I will shave it for you, here at home. It will be less scary and less of a shock if we do this together, at home where you are most comfortable" AJ watched as Molly's sad expression turned into a smile.
"Alex remind me again how lucky I am to have you in my life"
AJ gently cupped her face in his hands and slowly kissed away each of the
tears that were streaming down her face. " Chipper, we are both lucky to
have found each other."
