"Kymmi, god girl you look great" Molly's voice broke with emotion as she hugged her friend who had gotten her through the long months in the Ottawa clinic. "I have missed you so much"
Kim Ann tried not to cry as she held her friend close and felt for the first time how much damage the chemo had wreaked on Molly's body "So is AJ taking good care of you, waiting on you hand and foot and hanging on to your every word" Kim Ann asked as she took a seat on the floor in front of Nick. "Nick will you close your legs so I can lean against them please" Kim Ann scolded.
"There are plenty of chairs around here, why do you have to use me?" Nick whined.
"Because none of them are as overstuffed and as comfortable as you"
Molly looked at Alex with amusement as they watched the flirting taking place between their two friends. "So Kymmi to answer your question Alex is spoiling me rotten" Molly gave AJ a quick kiss and smiled.
"Well that is good because he had a hard act to follow after me" Kim Ann grinned.
"Something smells wonderful, what is it?" Kevin asked as he set up the playpen for Hannah.
"Alex cooked, it seems that being my saviour is not the only thing he is wonderful at, he has been playing chef as well"
"I made my chicken brochette, a medley of garden vegetables and garlic roasted potatoes" AJ said with a mock Julia Child accent.
"Wow, one month with you and he is already domesticated" Kim Ann gave AJ an impressed look and crawled over to where Hannah was lying. "Well this young lady is going to take after her Auntie Kim, no cooking or cleaning for here, she will marry rich and have people to do all that menial stuff, won't you princess?"
"Guess that is why you are still single huh Kymmi" AJ smirked as Kim Ann flipped him off.
"Hey, not in front of Hannah" Kevin scolded, ever the father.
"I hope your mouth and your temper don't rub off on her" Howie teased as he walked into the house and caught the tail end of the banter. "Well isn't that a fine hello, not wow you look awesome, wow I have missed you or plant one on me baby" Kim Ann pretended to pout as she looked at Howie.
"You know my mother told me to never hide my feelings, so I don't" Howie teased "Come here girl and get your dose of Vitamin D" Howie laughed as he hugged Kim Ann "So how long is hootchie #1 planning on staying in Orlando?"
"Well you know we have the Howiepalooza planned in two weeks so I am here for atleast that long, depends on how long it takes for me to piss off AJ and drive Nicky nuts"
"In that case it was nice having you here Kymmi, I will drive you to the airport" Nick got up and pretended to leave.
"You are asking for it little man" Kim Ann warned as everyone burst out laughing.
AJ looked over at where Molly was standing and he felt his eyes start to fill with tears. Molly was clutching her stomach from all the laughing she was doing and AJ had not seen her smile that much since she had been on tour with them "I think this is going to do her a world of good" AJ thought to himself "Hmm it seems that Nick and Kim Ann won't take long to hook up at the rate they are going" AJ laughed as he watched Kim Ann put Nick in a headlock.
"Say it...Nick I mean it, say it" Kim Ann could hardly breathe from all the laughing but she was intent on making Nick pay.
"Alright, Kim Ann is the biggest sex goddess there is , all of us men should bow at her feet and beg her to give us 5 minutes with her"
"Oh my god they are too much" Howie fell back into the chair and laughed.
