"So how did you manage to pull yourself away from Nick's lips long enough to join us?" Skylar teased her friend and started to laugh when Kim Ann flipped her off.
"You guys we need to find dresses for the Grammy's, they are in 2 days and we are already cutting this really close" Molly scolded. She was very aprehensive about going. It would be her first real appearance as AJ's girlfriend and now that she was sick and bald she was petrified of going. She saw a short hunter green dress that would look fabulous on Kim Ann and she dragged her friends into the store.
"So what do you think?" Kim Ann twirled around and faced her two friends. The dress was cut with an empire waist and flowed, hiding her much hated hips. It hung just above the knee and brought out her green eyes and set off her red curls beautifully. It made her freckles stand out and her white skin looked milky "Well aren't you the good little Irish girl" Skylar teased. "Seriosly girl you have to buy that, it was made for you"

"Kevin would die if I spent this much on a dress" Sklyar glanced at the tag and grimaced. The red dress was long and fitted with a slit on either side, the scarf wound around her neck and trailed down the open back.
"Kevin will forget his name when he sees this dress, now stop being such a cheap bitch and whip out the plastic" Kim Ann said as she searched through the rack at Armani. "Fuck me, this dress is perfect for you Molly" Kim Ann held up a short, fitted navy blue dress and handed it to Molly.
"I am too skinny to wear that" Molly stopped and laughed at what she had just said. "How I used to long to be able to say those words" she thought to herself "I would give anything to be chubby and healthy again"
"Get your tiny ass in there and try this on" Kim Ann gave Molly a no nonsense look and Molly took the dress into the changing room. As she slipped out of her overalls and slipped on the dress she couldn't help but wonder how the press and the fans would react to finding out she was sick. Her thoughts were pushed aside when she saw how stunning she looked. The blue from the dress picked out the blue specks in her brown eyes and made them look like blue sapphires. Her legs were still short but they were now lean instead of chunky. " What am I going to do about my head?" she thought, and right on cue, as if Sky knew what she was thinking, a matching blue stole was thrown over the door. Molly experimented with the stole and finally wrapped it around her head and she was surprised how good it actually looked. She opened the door and judging by the looks on her friend's faces, she knew that the outfit was a taker. Her hand reached up to the turban "Does this look stupid?"
"Are you crazy? My god if Erica Badu can get away with it so can you, it adds a little bit of funk to that classy outfit" Kymmi and Skylar gathered in close to Molly and they hugged.

2 days later
"Jesus where are the girls, they know that the limos are picking us up at 5?" Kevin was pacing the living room floor and muttering under his breath. The girls had all made appointments at the spa and were now late.
Nick and Brian were playing nintendo, trying to calm their nerves, Howie was talking to his sister who would be attending the Grammy's with Jessi and himself and AJ was listening to his discman, trying to keep himself loose and calm. He had not admitted it to anyone but he was afraid of how Molly was going to handle the questions and the curious looks when they arrived on the red carpet. He had not seen her dress and he could not wait to see how she looked. Howie signalled to him that the girls had arrived and he stopped his discman and reached for his tuxedo jacket.
"Leigh you look incredible' Brian kissed his fiancee and the two got into the limo "See you all there"
Jessi walked in and Howie felt his heart race, her hair was tied up with diamond clasps and she was dressed in a fitted black dress with a black shrug. "You look beautiful" he whispered as he took her hand and kissed it. "Shall we?" he held out his arms and Jessi and Polly each took an arm and walked out to the limo.
Skylar was beaming when she walked into the living room. Her pregnancy gave her a wonderful glow that could not be achieved with make up. Her long hair was hanging loose down her back and the ruby heart necklace that Kevin had given to her on their wedding night hung around her thin neck. Kevin kissed her softly "Baby pregnancy agrees with you, I am thinking that I might just have to keep you pregnant because you get more beautiful with each baby"
"I don't think so" Skylar smiled and the couple walked hand in hand to the limo to wait for the other two couples.

Nick was fidgeting with his tie when Kim Ann walked in. A lump rose in his throat when he saw her and he tried to act smooth when he walked towards her, only to crash into the coffee table.
"I take that as a sign that you like it?" Kim Ann teased as Nick's face turned red.
"Wow, that's all I can say...wow."
"Hmm a man of very few words, well loverboy you have some awards to win don't you?" Kim Ann took Nick's hand.

Molly took a deep breath and wiped her sweaty palms on the handkerchief that was in her evening bag. She had to admit that she looked good but she was worried about AJ's opinion. She walked into the house where she was met by AJ holding a dozen roses. Her face broke into a sweet smile and she kissed him "You are so handsome" she whispered as she straightned his tie.
"Chipper I cannot even begin to say how beautiful you are so I won't, just know that every word I sing tonight I am singing to you" AJ and Molly embraced and only seperated when the honk of the horn and Nick's yell of "Hurry the hell up" interrupted them. AJ and Molly walked out to the limo and as AJ helped her into the car he patted his pocket and winked at Howie who knew what he had planned.

Nik was curled up on the couch watching the pre show coverage when she
spotted Aaron dressed in a white tuxedo and Jane and Bob beside him. "I
should be there" she thought bitterly. She studied the man who stood beside
Aaron and got madder with each word he spoke to Carson Daly "Carson I am
incredibly proud of all my children, those that are in the business and
those that are not, as long as they are doing what makes them happy then I
am doing my job" Bob smiled as he spoke into the camera "You prick, you say
you are so proud of your children but you have been hiding two of us from
your family, fucking hypocrite" Nik threw a pillow at the image of the man
whom she planned to destroy.
