**NOTE: I took some liberties with this chapter, though I do think the boys should have won a Grammy. I know that the speeches are supposed to be very short but again I took liberties for the flow of the story~~
"And the winner of Album of the Year is......Millennium The Backstreet Boys"
Howie sat in his chair stunned as Polly and Jessi cried and hugged him.
Brian and Leighanne kissed and then Brian turned to hug his mother who was sitting in the row behind them.
Nick pulled Kim Ann out of her seat and kissed her full on the mouth in front of everyone in attendance and everyone watching it on television. He was crying when he pulled away and he grabbed at Brian trying to hug him.
"Baby we did it, oh my god I wish my dad was here to see this, oh my god I love you" Kevin kissed Skylar and nearly suffocated her with the hug.
AJ and Molly hugged each other tight and AJ whispered "Chipper this is going to change our lives, I love you" and the 5 group members embraced as the walked happily on stage to accept their award. The girls were crying and hugging as they watched the guys still hugging on stage. Brian started the thank you's first.
"Thank you to our lord Jesus Christ who without him none of this would have been possible, to my family thank you for all your support, to my soon to be family thanks for accepting me, to the fans we love you and owe you more then we could ever give back, and to my fiancee..Leighanne I love you"
"I don't usually talk but I am so stunned that I think I may have been stunned talkative" the crowd chuckled and Nick continued "To the fans, you are our life line and the reason that we are standing up here today, you keep us going when the days are long so thank you. To my family thank you for picking me up and brushing me off when I fell, Aaron I love you little man. To these 4 guys, you are the older brothers I never had and always wanted, thank you for kicking my butt and to a certain lady in the audience, thank you for teaching me how to trust" Kim Ann wiped the tears from her eyes and squeezed Skylar's hand.
"To my family who keep me level and who are my best friends and my suport system and to my sister Caroline who is the inspiration for the words I sing thank you and I love you. To our record company and the Firm, thanks for believing in us, no matter how pigheaded we are sometimes, thanks for taking us from darkness to light. To a certain group of women who pump my ego up and make me blush on a regular basis Thank you! Jessi my dreams have come true now it is time for yours. God Bless everyone and keep the Backstreet pride alive"
"Thank you to everyone out on the road with us, The firm, Jive, and to all of our family and friends thank you for putting up with us. Hi Hannah daddy loves you and he is bringing you home a new toy. Skylar you are the reason that I reach for the stars, you have given me the gift of your love and support and I am so thankful. To my unborn child I love you already" The crowd started to buzz as they realised that Kevin had just announced that his wife was expecting another baby.
AJ walked up to the mic and looked past the cameras and the lights and found
the face of the woman he had waited for all his life. "Since everyone has
already thanked everyone then I want to take this time to ask a very special
person in my life something very important." AJ reached into his pocket and
as he stared at Molly from the stage he said "Chipper you are my salvation,
you are the air I breath and the goodness in my soul. Will you marry me?"
